As many of you may know, the only internet access we can get out here in the country that is better than dial-up is Satellite. It's very expensive, and much, much slower than cable or DSL.
Because it takes so long to load a page, open my gmail, upload a photo, I've been looking for a faster browser, because any little additional speed is good.
So I thought I'd try Google Chrome. Goodness, it actually seems to make a difference, at least so far as loading pages. It has a minimalist look and feel to it, which is okay by me! I'm going to try it out for a week or so and then decide whether to stick with it or go back to Firefox.
