Because it takes so long to load a page, open my gmail, upload a photo, I've been looking for a faster browser, because any little additional speed is good.
So I thought I'd try Google Chrome. Goodness, it actually seems to make a difference, at least so far as loading pages. It has a minimalist look and feel to it, which is okay by me! I'm going to try it out for a week or so and then decide whether to stick with it or go back to Firefox.

Chrome is very fast, but I rely on my FF addons too much… Noscript in particular. ;)
It’s an interesting browser. It not using extensions and not for linux yet kills it dead for me. I find it has a very smooth feel and I love the minimalistic interface.
I agree with you on the minimalist interface. I love not needing all those toolbars that seem to accumulate with both IE and Firefox.
And I’m thinking, gee, maybe I don’t need to spend so much time on Twitter!
