There are all kinds of ‘safety’ features dictated by the EPA and who knows what alphabet agency that make it nearly impossible for me to get the gasoline out of the container and into the gasoline tank.

As a matter of fact, these new and improved gas cans have spilled more gasoline on me than the old style, less offensive to the environment, gas cans which, of course, can no longer be purchased.

Grrrrrrr.

I probably started 10 posts in my attempts to show how The Futurist’s “Misandry Bubble” post is filled with dubious facts and figures, but the absolutely ridiculous length of his post and the many contradictions within his post made it such a tedious task, that I would give up after a few paragraphs.

Thankfully, there are much smarter women out there, with much more stamina than I have.

Cassandra has graphs, charts, rebuttals and more stamina than I’ll ever have!!

Obviously, the guy who writes this crap has had a difficult time with women.
You see, it’s all the fault of women that Western Civilization is in Decline.

I would tell you to go read this essay of his - “The Misandry Bubble”, but few people I know who have real relationships and real jobs and real lives have the kind of time it takes to slog through his really bad writing.

But feel free, if you have a few hours.

I shall warn you, not once, not twice, but many times - the statistics he uses are apparently made up. I just fact-checked a couple of them and found him to be off by 20 to 30 percentage points from real statistics.

I attempted to leave comments there 3 or 4 times,but each time, my comment disappears in seconds.

Apparently this guy and his band of brother wimmen-haters can’t take criticism.

Mind you, I’m not a feminist. I am pro-life. I think it is important for a mom to raise the kids, etc., etc.

But this guy’s panties are all in a bunch because he thinks that birth control, women’s rights and his belief that men are unable to control their animal urges to copulate with all females are the reason that the US and Western Europe will fail.

If I have time, after doing my chores around the farm, etc., I will, over the next few days, fisk this piece of shit essay paragraph by paragraph. Perhaps I’ll be able to get Instapundit to link to my arguments since he linked to the essay to begin with.

Michelle Obama had this great idea. She would send old Christmas Ornaments used in past administrations (many of them created by artisans) to Community Centers throughout the land to be “recycled” and then returned to the White House for display.

One would think that someone on the White House Staff would have inspected these ornaments before placing them on the tree in the Blue Room.

Who knows,maybe they did. But somehow, an ornament featuring Chairman Mao is on the tree. Oh, and some transvestite is on another ornament, but what really pisses me off is an atheist, dead communist being featured as part of a Christmas celebration.

The Obamas have really cheapened all the traditions of the White House since last January 20th, and it only gets worse every time they get a chance.

Between Michelle’s inability to dress like a First Lady (for example, the bright teal dress she wore at Arlington Cemetary) to Obama’s narcissistic tendency to want to be the center of everyone’s attention all the time, I’m already very tired of this Administration.

These people have no class at all and have no desire to rise to the level of respect that the Presidency deserves.

Personally, I don’t give a rat’s ass about Tiger Woods, his wife and his many paramours. There are much more important things going on in the world today than the misbehavior of a golfer. To me, no athlete is worth the attention given him/her and his/her private life.

If the MSM would put ½ the effort into exploring Obama’s background (college transcripts, who paid for his education, how did he get the money to buy his mansion in Chicago) as they have searching out a golfer’s indiscretions, we could be on the way to impeaching this leftist thug.

Apparently, Obama won the Peace Prize for winning the Presidency. He has done nothing else at all since he came into office that is even the tiniest bit worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize.

He was nominated a mere 10 days after he was sworn in.

When I see Obama speachifying about world affairs,I see a deer in headlights look emanating from his oh so snotty visage - eyes wide open, nose raised a few degrees above normal.

It is becoming obvious to me that as long as Obama says the USA sucks, he will be popular with the kind of leftist folks who are on the Nobel Peace Prize Committee.

The man has done nothing to improve the world. Not. One. Thing.

Of course, other past winners, Jimmah Carter and Yassir (that’s my baby) Arafat come to mind - did nothing for World Peace either.

And not just conservatives like myself think this is ridiculous - there are many in the world who find it extremely premature.

Even if it does mean agreeing with a liberal journalist. Cokie Roberts, in a fit of uncommon sensibility, said “Roman Polanski is a criminal, Roberts said. “He raped and drugged and raped and sodomized a child. And then was a fugitive from justice. As far as I’m concerned, just take him out and shoot him.”

And yes, of course she was joking about shooting him, but it is nice to see a member of the press actually pissed off about Hollywood and how they treat people with a different sense of what is right and wrong!

This will be a first for me. I am going to attend Rep. Lynn Jenkin’s “listening tour” townhall meeting this afternoon in Leavenworth, Kansas.

I do wish she had used some other term than “listening tour” - as that phrase was coined by Hillary Rodham Clinton, not my favorite politician.

Anyway, I will be armed with our video camera and my Nikon to record the proceedings.

I will upload it to Pajamas Media (I got approved as a citizen journalist by them) once I get home and if I can figure out how to properly edit it all.

This being a smallish town, I hope there will not be a huge crowd. But just in case, I am leaving early.

And somehow, in the router software, we are forbidden access to any “Social Networking” site like Twitter and Facebook.
