I just finished my second sleep study last night. The first one was completed on December 30th - the results - I have sleep apnea. So, last night, I was fitted with a CPAP and monitored all night long.
Honestly, I didn’t mind looking like Mrs. Snuffleupagus as much as I minded all the electrodes on my head, chest and legs.
I spent 2 hours trying to wash out the damn paste in my hair that they use to stick electrodes to me -and it is going to take another shampoo or two for all that stuff to get out of my hair. Yuck.
If using a CPAP will make me feel more awake and give me more energy, I’m all for it. I have been tired for a couple of years. I don’t have the energy to do those things I need to do.
John also uses a CPAP - if a burglar broke into our room whilst we sleep, we would surely scare them away - with our nose-hoses and all.
