I was looking at different hatcheries on-line, as it is getting to be time to buy some new chicks to replenish my egg-laying hens.
I found this hatchery, Larry’s Poultry, and thought, oh, maybe I’ll buy from them. I started checking out his website.
Then I noticed a link on his front page that said: IMPORTANT NEWS.

So, I clicked on the link and lo and behold, it was a notice from the Democrat Party warning people of those of us who don’t like the Obama Agenda.
Yes, we are “Anti-Reform” Mobs. We are evil. We must be stopped. Oh, an we are afraid! Because we are too stupid out here to understand the nuances of Obama’s Socialized Medicine push, I suppose.
It goes on and on and sounds like a Nancy Pelosi sound bite.
The whole screed was signed by
Jen O’Malley Dillon Executive Director Democratic National Committee
Apparently, Jen is unaware of the many Democrats who have joined Independents and Republicans in protesting the “transformation of America” that far-left Democrats and the President and the Left Democrats in Congress are trying to force upon us.
I wrote the company, Larry’s Poultry, and I told them why I would never purchase anything from them. Ever.
Never. Never. Never.

By their ranting squawks, I can tell that those aren't my type of peeps.
Being in business, one doesn't want to alienate potentially half the customer base like this. There have been times I've wondered in my business if having Rush and other conservative talk radio on in the shop have turned off customers who might otherwise spend more money. But I think I'm relatively safe here, in Shawnee KS.
Not smart, Larry.
Very poor business practice.
I wonder if his Going Out of Business Sale will feature a DNC fund-raising box on the side...
Although they seem to be a really nice product, I'm probably not going to be buying a Knew Concept saw frame because of the prominent ad for ObamaCare on his home page.
And this is why the proposition that corporations would start buying elections is false. Those who hold this opinion have forgotten two things:
a) Corporations would like to sell their products and services to Democrats, Republicans and Independents all, and don't really see an upside to offending a significant part of their customer base, and
b) States such as Illinois already have no such limits and corporations are not, in actual fact, trying to do so.
