I should know better. I should freaking know better. I am an artsy fartsy kinda gal. I love my pottery, my spinning, my fiber arts.
So, some months ago, I joined a Yahoo group that discussed fiber arts. It seemed to be a reasonably smart group of women until yesterday. Then, a bunch of them came out screaming that the USA HAS TO HAVE HEALTH CARE NOW.
It seems that they don’t like to have to pay for the insurance they have and they believe that Canada and the UK have much better health care than we do.
It got pretty heated. So I quit the group.
When I hear people like that bitching that their life is so hard that everyone else ought to pay for their healthcare, whilst they go out and buy new horses, new cars, etc., well, I just get pissed. They are all freaking idiots.
Bah!
They think it will be free. "Its Obamoney! He's the President!" How can a grown up believe such facile tripe? They believe in Santa Claus but they think he is Obama. Medicare pay rates are already below operating costs so that doctors who accept it are giving charity. It is just insanity. These are some people who have a faith in Anthropegenic Global Warming. They have accepted that the possiblity that the planet has warmed .07 of a degree in 100 years and that it is frightening and wildly dangerous. Huh? And to answer that problem they go straight to paying off dictators and thugs. How does that stop the progression of the planet through the cosmos? Where do they think weather comes from? There is a strange secular faith in Man as God.
