What is wrong with people like this guy?

He is all concerned that Saddam did not receive a fair trial.

Does he have any concern at all for the thousands upon thousands of Saddam's victims?

Baghdad Butcher bound for Hell

Though I wish that he had been killed when he was captured, I'm glad his existence on this earth is over, finally.

I hope that now the trials are over, Iraqis can concentrate on building their new government - and I pray that they choose religious freedom for all.

Meryl has a Haiku party going on. Go and join in.

Osama bin Laden dead?

A French newspaper is reporting that Saudi Arabia believes that Osama bin Laden is dead.

Certainly, I want this to be true, but I'm looking for some corroborating reports on this one.

If it is true, the Democrats can just quit bitching about bin Laden, and that would indeed be less cacophony in my ears!

Beth, of Yeah, Right, Whatever, has more details.

This is a war

Israel makes a mistake and kills civilians (of course the terrorist Hezbollah rockets were in the neighborhood - because the terrorists hide behind women and children, aren't they brave!/sarcasm).
The world throws a fit over this. War Crime!, the crazy leaders of Islamic states scream. But this is war. The damned terrorists park their rocket launchers next to residential areas. They don't care about the women and children who are killed. Not.One.Bit.

Why has the world not screamed "war crime" at the Islamic terrorists who blow themselves up in ice cream parlors and restaurants in Israel, killing children, or who murder school children in Russia, vacationers in Bali, innocent women and children in Darfur and other African countries?

Why does the world not understand that this is a World War. The Islamic Terrorist organizations are taking over countries and have declared war on the west, and anyone who does not see this is sticking his/her head in the sand.

The United Nations is worthless - an organization made up of mostly despots and rogues from 3rd World Countries who want nothing more than to stick it to Americans.

We have to do something. I worry about Venezuela - how soon before it becomes an Islamic state, with crazy Chavez making nice nice with Iran?

The Venezuelan president, Chavez, said this "...Therefore, we should save humanity and end the American empire," Chavez told a crowd at the University of Tehran."source (which is a crazy statement since we do not have an empire, we do not have colonies).

And the Venezuelan Energy Minister is threatening to cut off oil to the US.

Why doesn't the Left realize that these terrorists are fascists? They will take away every right we ever had and then take our lives and our children and our land. And the terrorists are going to get entry to the Americas via Chavez.

And yes, I'm extremely worried - extremely concerned.

Are you done yet?

I feel about the same way she does. It's depressing. The world is just going to shit, and the crazy assed political correctness, can't make anyone feel bad crowd will prevent the truth from coming out.

While groups like CAIR believe that it's a positive thing for Islamofascists to take over an African country, the media is ignoring the fact that sharia law is being enforced on people who do not want it.

It is frightening.

Where is the outrage?

Where are the leaders of the Muslim World? Why are they not condemning the torture and murder of American Soldiers?

Where are the leaders of Europe? Why are they not condemning the torture and murder of American Soldiers?

They are all still accussing America of 'torturing' terrorists by holding them prisoner in Guantanamo Bay.

Let's see, we "embarrass" terrorists when questioning them.

The terrorists just cut off body parts of our soldiers and kill them and booby trap bodies.

So . . . the leaders of the world don't say a thing about al Quaida being barbaric, committing torture, ignoring the Geneva Convention. But they are all over the US and want us to bow to the Islamofascists so as not to hurt their feelings..

I say fuck them all.

I want us to do whatever it takes to destroy the Islamofascist thugs in Iraq. We need to stop worrying about the damned collateral damage and just fight them all.

I am pissed.

The Cyber War on Terror

Yesterday was the second or third or fourth time that Hosting Matters (and our blogs) were shut down by DOS (denial of service) attacks. The most recent attacks were probably aimed at Aarons CC - a great anti-terror blog - though Hosting Matters does not reveal which site was the victim.
His blog has not yet returned from the DOS attack.

Hosting Matters *did* say that the attacks were originating from Saudi Arabia. Which kinda figures, Aaron is no friend of the Arabs!

And all of this brings me to the subject at hand - our enemies seek to silence us anyway they can, even, or especially, individuals with blogs or websites of some sort who speak against them. The Islamofascists who want to kill us all or force us to become Muslim are only one faction in the cyberworld who wants to shut us all down.

The Chinese, I believe, are even more dangerous. They have billions of people - and who knows how many are employed in trying to hack the computer systems of banks, government and businesses of the West. And the Chinese are more organized that the Islamic extremests. There is no doubt in my mind that the Chinese crave world domination. They can't even handle people who meditate and exercise (the Falon Gong) and have tortured and murdered many of their own citizens for the crime of being different. When John and I were in DC last week, there were hundreds of Americans of Chinese descent protesting the visit of the Chinese President. There were also hundreds of Chinese who are pro-Peking (yeah, yeah, I know, they want it to be called Beijing) holding American and Chinese flags in their hands - and there was something very wrong about the two flags being together. I will try to upload my pics from there later today.

Anyway, between the Islamists who want me to wear a burka and never leave home or be tortured to death, and the Chinese, who simply want to rule the world, our words are more important than we might think.

So, even though I have been mostly blogging about my work, home, etc., maybe it it time for me to start being more outspoken.

One person can make a difference - look at Jane of Armies of Liberation - she has made a huge difference to the Yemeni people who want only freedom - and mostly all by herself. The government of Yemen is afraid of her! The "press" in Yemen writes all kinds of made-up stories about Jane - it's funny, really. Jane is making a difference.

So I will endeavor to write something of value more than my kitchent color in the future - at least once a week!

For no other reason than to defy those who want to shut us up.

Help needed

Our friend, Deb, of Marine Corps Moms, is desperately trying to put enough goodies together for Christmas for some troops in both Afghanistan and Iraq (somehow the MWR money didn't get there in time for holiday planning).

The problem is we have some units in Afghanistan and Iraq that will not receive their MWR dollars in time to plan a Christmas holiday for the troops. Don't have an exact number of troops, and the Master Sgt that e-mailed me from Afgan (whom I know personally) has not been able to re-email me since.

But if some stockings could be sent to their unit commander that would really help. Please let me know for sure though so I can tell them to expect something. Thank you again, and bless you both for all you are doing for our service members and their families.

Come on, folks, go to the MarineCorps Moms' Paypal button and give them 10 or 25 or 1000 dollars - we bloggers could help Kate get her pretty smile back, we can also help out with getting our service people a Christmas, eh?

Great Thoughts from The Queen

Rosemary Esmay, the Queen of All Evil (she is just a great woman, really!) has a great post on freedom of speech, 'absolute moral authority' and how wacked Cindy Sheehan has become. (well, I say wacked, Rosemary is much nicer).

Rosemary is right - Cindy Sheehan is getting pretty nasty about the mothers of soldiers who were killed in Iraq who do not agree with her - she is 'losing her compassion' for them.

And I think the woman is becoming dangerously paranoid - she seems to think that people who believe that the war is the right thing to do are going to cause violence:

We are going to have an eventful day at Camp Casey. We are holding a big rally and so are the "pro-continue the killing because Americans have died already" people. I am a little apprehensive about this. We know that the Sheriff's know that the other people are coming to stir up trouble and provoke us into violence. Well, that is not going to happen on the Camp Casey side. We will not resort to the same tactics as their leaders.

Yes, in case you were unaware, Mama Sheehan has become a Kosivite - she has her own 'blog' that gets top billing there.

I think she treads dangerously close to aiding and abetting the enemy any more - she calls the Terrorists - Freedom Fighters from other countries (bwaa ha ha ha) and calls American Soldiers - Terrorists.

And the thing is - she has the right to protest and say everything she wants to say - if her 'people' were in charge, do you think for one second that they would allow people who disagree with them the same rights?

Posted by Beth at 06:07 PM

The 'Chosen One'?????

Just when you can't imagine her saying anything more obnoxious and annoying and stupid, Cindy (Mother) Sheehan had this to say:

"I'm just so honored that the universe chose me to be the spark that has set off a raging inferno.

"And when I had to leave," she added, "it proved that you don't need the spark anymore, because the fire is burning. And it's not going to go out. If George Bush came out and spoke with me today and we went home, this wouldn't end."

Dean Esmay has a great post on Mother Sheehan.

And by the way, she ain't sounding so Catholic these days - no mention of God?
Only the .... Universe?

Seems the Sheehan nut has cracked.

Mohammed speaks to Cindy Sheehan

You must go read this message to Cindy Sheehan by Mohammed of Iraq the Model. Everyone should read it, especially all of you who believe we should not be in Iraq. Perhaps it will help you understand why we are there.

Here is an excerpt:

I know how you feel Cindy, I lived among the same pains for 35 years but worse than that was the fear from losing our loved ones at any moment. Even while I'm writing these words to you there are feelings of fear, stress, and sadness that interrupt our lives all the time but in spite of all that I'm sticking hard to hope which if I didn't have I would have died years ago.

Ma'am, we asked for your nation's help and we asked you to stand with us in our war and your nation's act was (and still is) an act of ultimate courage and unmatched sense of humanity.
Our request is justified, death was our daily bread and a million Iraqi mothers were expecting death to knock on their doors at any second to claim someone from their families.
Your face doesn't look strange to me at all; I see it everyday on endless numbers of Iraqi women who were struck by losses like yours.

Our fellow country men and women were buried alive, cut to pieces and thrown in acid pools and some were fed to the wild dogs while those who were lucky enough ran away to live like strangers and the Iraqi mother was left to grieve one son buried in an unfound grave and another one living far away who she might not get to see again.

We did nothing to deserve all that suffering, well except for a dream we had; a dream of living like normal people do.

We cried out of joy the day your son and his comrades freed us from the hands of the devil and we went to the streets not believing that the nightmare is over.
We practiced our freedom first by kicking and burning the statues and portraits of the hateful idol who stole 35 years from the life of a nation.
For the first time air smelled that beautiful, that was the smell of freedom.

Thank you, Mohammed, for putting into words the pain that the Iraqi people have lived with for so many years.

8 Explosions in London

Looks like they are at it again. This time, in the Notting Hill Area. Hopefully it is just the police have found the bad guys and are blowing up all their bombs - hope our dear English readers are safe and sound!

Update - looks like the police in London are raiding a building where one of the terrorists from 7/21 is believed to be. The explosions are reported to be tear gas grenades, perhaps.

Another incident in London?

It looks like something is going on at another location in London. I'm watching Fox News while packing my stuff to get ready to head home. They are reporting something going on around N. Harrow Street in London - bomb disposal units appear to have been called to an Internet Cafe house. Robin is liveblogging the happenings here.

Good for the Brits!

The London Police have killed a suspected terrorist.

Update - the man killed was not a terrorist. This is very sad and tragic. Yes, he was acting suspiciously, and he lived in the same building that British cops raided over the weekend - finding more terror suspects and evidence - but he was apparently an innocent victim of terrorism. I cannot blame the police for reacting as they did under the circumstances.

More on London

The London Police say there have been 4 total explosions - 3 in the Underground and one on a bus. So far, it looks like the explosions were very small in comparison to what occurred two weeks ago. In fact, it appears that the detonators went off, but the actual bombs did not go off.

Interestingly, they have cordoned off University College in London. There is some word that there may be a man in the hospital wearing a backpack with wires sticking out of it.

One report from Sky News via Fox indicates that some stations were being closed down even before the explosions.

Several eyewitnesses described a man running onto a train, dropping off a rucksack and then running off the train - apparently, the good Londoners chased the man, but were unable to catch him.

By the way, I love London.

Update: The London Police have just arrested a Middle Eastern man near Downing Street.

If any one has any doubts that we are in a world war, well, they must not be paying attention at all.

I'm watching Fox News, and it appears that there have been several incidents on the Underground and a bus. They are evacuating the Underground. No reports of casualties as yet.

Here is an update.

This does not bother me one bit!

From MSNBC - Detainees accuse female interrogators

Female interrogators repeatedly used sexually suggestive tactics to try to humiliate and pry information from devout Muslim men held at the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, according to a military investigation not yet public and newly declassified accounts from detainees. advertisement

The prisoners have told their lawyers, who compiled the accounts, that female interrogators regularly violated Muslim taboos about sex and contact with women. The women rubbed their bodies against the men, wore skimpy clothes in front of them, made sexually explicit remarks and touched them provocatively, at least eight detainees said in documents or through their attorneys.
A wide-ranging Pentagon investigation, which has not yet been released, generally confirms the detainees' allegations, according to a senior Defense Department official familiar with the report. While isolated accounts of such tactics have emerged in recent weeks, the new allegations and the findings of the Pentagon investigation indicate that sexually oriented tactics may have been part of the fabric of Guantanamo interrogations, especially in 2003.

Who cares? So-called "Devout Muslim Men" captured in battle are the kind of fundamentalist Muslims who kill wives and daughters if the women are raped - who think it's OK to beat women if they are not submissive enough - these are the type of Muslims the Taliban are - not allowing women to get medical help and forbidding girls from becoming educated.

I have no problem whatsoever in making them feel icky around women. It's about time they did!

This is an important survey

From COUNTERCOLUMN: All Your Bias Are Belong to Us

The Army Times has published the results of the latest survey of Army Times subscribers, more than 2/3rds of whom are on active duty.

Here are the highlights:

Do you approve or disapprove of the way Pres. Bush is handling the situation in Iraq?

Approve: 63%
Disapprove: 20%
No opinion: 8%
Declined to answer: 9%

Notably, Bush's approval ratings on the war have increased substantially among this group, rising from 56% in 2003 to 63% in 2004.

Civilians polled by the Washington Post/ABC News around the same period (Dec 16-19) broke very differently: 39% approve, 58% disapprove.

The results bespeak a radical dissonance between the way the average American perceives the war - of necessity, as it is portrayed by the media - and how the war is perceived by the soldiers who have actually been on the ground.

I want them dead

More than anything, I want to see the men responsible for these horrors dead.

I don't care if we have to torture someone to get to these madmen in Iraq. I don't give a shit what the world thinks of us if these people are put in front of a firing squad. I just want them dead.

I want the US to get help from the Mossad and the English spy guys, can't think of what they are called, and of course our CIA and find these sons of bitches and kill them dead. If they could kill them each 10 times, that would be okay with me too.

If one of them showed up at my doorstep, I would not hesitate to pull the trigger again and again and again to kill these sub-humans who so blatantly behead American and English and Italian and Nepalese civilians.

And I bet none of our civilians are allowed to keep a sidearm with them for protection - but they obviously need to do so, don't they?

In Darfur, genocide is occurring. No doubt about it.

U.S. Ambassador John Danforth, in a chilling recital of abuses in Darfur, said some 50,000 people had been killed, 1.3 million civilians had been uprooted from their homes and 2 million people were in need of relief.

But the UN acts like an ineffective parent with threats that it will probably never carry out - "Oh, stop it, Sudan, you are misbehaving! Stop it right now or we might vote for oil sanctions, you are being naughty and we won't have it" the UN cries.

But Sudan knows that its pal, China will veto any real santions, so it's just like the UN is daddy saying, "do that one more time, Timmy, and I'll punish you, why, I'll take away a toy." While all the while, Timmy knows that mummy won't allow daddy to punish him at all.

And while the UN fiddlefarts around, how many thousands more will be killed by Arab Militias?

Anyone notice a similarity in the hotspots in the world?

Islamofascists hate all Western Countries

Enough of Rathergate, mean people making toddlers cry and blogospheric vanity - we are at war, pay attention!!!

Apparently, trying to appease the Muslim asshats who have declared war on Western Civilization has done nothing to help the French.

from Middle East Online

DUBAI - The Islamic Army of Iraq, which is holding two French journalists hostage, said Tuesday night that France is an "enemy of Muslims," in a statement on a website that gave no details on the fate of the captives.

The statement, carried on http://iaminiraq.tripod.com, cited France with a list of "crimes" that France had allegedly carried out against numerous Muslim countries.

"France has distinguished itself for its war against Islam and Muslims and has committed butchery against the nation," said the statement, whose authenticity could not be verified.

"France's history with Muslims is a black one, blemished by hatred and malice and blood. Its modern history is no less so that in the past," the statement added, calling on the "Islamic nation to unite against its enemies," such as France.

It accused France of "playing a principle role in blocking Muslims from taking power in Algeria after their victory" in 1992 legislative elections.

It said French prisons are "full of Muslims" being held in the name of the fight against terrorism, while denouncing continuing French support for the "Zionist entity" (Israel) and its "war against the symbols of Islam, such as the headscarf" for women.

The French journalists Christian Chesnot and Georges Malbrunot, along with their Syrian driver, were kidnapped on August 20.

The hostage-takers initially demanded that Paris rescind its ban on the wearing of Islamic headscarves and other "conspicuous" religious insignia in state schools, but the law went into effect on September 2 as planned.

After an unprecedented wave of condemnations from the Arab and Muslim worlds, the group seemed set to release the men but for the past week there has been no news.

The statement said "true professionals, be they journalists, doctors or others, who do not carry out any activity of sabotage ... are not the target of the Islamic Army," the statement said.

"We respect those who are on a genuine humanitarian mission ... and are not pursuing missionary or intelligence objectives."

"The Islamic Army has an organism for sharia (Islamic law) to settle such matters by a fatwa (religious decree) in conformity with the Book (the Koran) and Sunna (Islamic tradition). The Islamic Army respects the ulemas (Muslim scholars) of the nation."

The statement accused France of "active participation in starving the Iraqi people for 12 years," an allusion to UN sanctions on the regime of Saddam Hussein after the Gulf War.

And it ridiculed France's refusal to participate in the US-led war on Iraq last year, saying that was calculated to "protect its own interests and not to please the Iraqis."

These people are serious about getting rid of Western Civilization. This is so obviously becoming World War III - more and more every day.

Why aren't any of our politicians pointing this out? We have got to go after these people like we did the Japanese and Germans in World War II - this is not a 'police action'. Our way of life is being threatened. Our religions, from Judaism to Christianity to paganism are being threatened.

These people will rape and kill our children as they did the Russian children. They are the enemy. There is no more time for nice nice talk with the extremist Muslims. They have declared war on all of us - including the French.

Thanks to Merde in France for the tip.

CNN.com - Al-Jazeera: Video shows U.S., UK hostages - Sep 18, 2004

Al-Jazeera aired video Saturday of what it said showed two Americans and one Briton, seized two days ago from their home-office in central Baghdad.

What moral responsibility do media outlets like As-Jazeera have?

To my mind, if Al-Jazeera knows who these people are - people who are illegally targeting civilians - Al-Jazeera has a responsibility to tell the Iraqi government.

Have Al-Jazeera photographers been taking these actual videos? If so, they are war criminals.

If an Al-Jazeera 'reporter' knows of these atrocities and does not report them to proper authorities, is he not also a war criminal?

Otherwise, Al-Jazeera is simply another arm of terrorism and should be destroyed in Iraq, Afghanistan.

Explosions Heard at Russian Siege School

Two explosions were heard near the site of the Russian school siege today not long after President Vladimir Putin pledged to do everything possible to save the lives of more than 350 hostages including children.

The blasts were about 10 minutes apart and rang out from the area of the cordoned-off school, followed by a billowing cloud of black smoke rising from the vicinity of the site.

The suicide gunmen and women who seized the school yesterday morning had threatened to blow it up if any rescue attempt was made.

Say a prayer for the families of the children and soldiers in and around the school.

More on Terrorists in Russia

CNN.com - 7 dead in Russia school attack - Sep 1, 2004

But CNN still refuses to call them terrorists - they refer to them as rebels, or hostage takers or militants.

The hostage-takers reportedly were demanding the release of more than two dozen prisoners picked up during a raid on Chechens in southern Russia in June and that Russia withdraw all of its forces from Chechnya.

"Sajjan Gohel, Director of International Security at the Asia Pacific Foundation, told CNN that Wednesday's hostage-taking was a "major escalation" by militants. "It seems that the militants are raising the stakes substantially. The Chechen militants' strategy is no longer just to engage Russian troops in Chechnya but to take it into Russia itself," he said." "They have become very successful in that. They have been able to entrench themselves in Russia."

Dammit, CNN - these people are murderers, terrorists - they are the absolute scum of the earth.

And we need to be warned - we must not allow these people to become entrenched in the USA.

I'd have my snipers smear bacon grease all over the bullets used to pick off these scum one by one.

I've had it

The crazed Islamicists have now taken over one, perhaps two schools in Russia - schools full of children.
Russian School Terror

My God, can you imagine how frightened these little children are - and their parents.

The so-called Chechen 'rebels' (that is too honorable a name to give the scum) have downed two airplanes, set off bombs and are now ready to kill hundreds of children in schools.

All this in the name of the 'religion of peace', Islam.

I can only pray for the children and their families.

All terrorists must be stopped. This is a world war. Anyone who thinks otherwise is probably a French appeaser, aka an idiot.

CNN, CBS and other alphabet news outlets continue to call these people 'rebels', not terrorists, as they are.

Everyone, everyone needs to read this.

MY WAR - Fear And Loathing In Iraq: Interview With An Iraqi.

Here is a sample:

QUESTION: Do you think The U.S. did the right thing by coming over?
ANSWER: Yes the United States did the right thing about coming here. As I told you, to give the Iraqi people freedom. Because we don't have any freedom before the war. We can't speak, we cannot talk about the government, we can't talk about the president. We are restricted here in Iraq.
QUESTION: What do you think of people that protest us being here?
ANSWER: I think some of them are crazy, because why are they protesting? They protest for nothing. Why they protest? American Forces came over here in order to help them. I consider American Forces a friend to the Iraqi people, not an enemy, there is no need to protest.

Go read the whole interview.

Why it's okay to beat women ...

More fine suggestions on living a holy life from the Religion of Peace.

Egyptian Sheik Muhammad Al-Massir of Al-Azhar University also explained the circumstances in which a husband is allowed to beat his wife. If a woman is disobedient, he explained on the Saudi-based channel Iqra TV, " a woman for whom marital life is important suffers when she is left alone in the bed. If we get to a point where abandonment [in bed] does not pain her and words do not deter her, we may have come to the stage of beatings."

The Religion of "Peace" Strikes again

Woman beheaded, six killed

Srinagar, India - Suspected Islamic rebels decapitated a woman in Indian Kashmir and left her head hanging in a tree, police said on Thursday, adding that six other people were killed in the restive state.

Police were investigating the motive for the beheading of Shameema Akhter near the town of Tral, 40km south of the Kashmiri summer capital Srinagar, a police spokesperson said.

I wonder if Michael Moore would insist that these terrorists are just misunderstood and that it is really all the USA's fault?

I work with two young people whose parents are from India. They both practice Hinduism, and both of them are appalled by these kind of attacks - but, I must say - they will both vote for John Kerry because that is who all their non-Indian friends are voting for.

They have no sense of righteousness.

I have never trusted unnamed Government Lackies

I'm sorry, Commissar. If what this New York Times article says is true (and there are many reasons not to believe a thing the New York Times says), then why were all of the Syrians questioned at the termination of the flight?

Why the change in story from the original Air Marshall to this unnamed one.

This information proves nothing to me.

As a very frequent flier, I believe Annie Jacobsen. I have seen some very scary things from time to time. Unfairwitness is admittedly unfair, and anti-President Bush.

The New York Times, well ... do we need to discuss their credibility issues?

All of you who don't fly much - well, you can think what you will, because unless you work in a high profile building, you probably have nothing much to fear .... unless you are in one of the planes used to attack that building.

And, your link to this story also has a story that is a complete lie - that Nancy Reagan does not support George Bush.

Sorry, Commissar,

I want and need better references than the New York Times, and the idiotic blog called >>> unfairwitness (you all can find the link via google, I ain't advertising them!)

Reality Sucks

Paul Johnson was brutally tortured and murdered today by Islamofascist thugs. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Another American civilian has been cut down by the evil that is that branch of Islam.

Boudicca has it right, it is not terrorism we are fighting, it is Islamic extremism - Wahabism.

While the 9/11 Commission is worrying over why our own military didn't shoot down all four of our commercial planes (full of American citizens) on 9/11 and blaming the military and NORAD for failing to do so (if that had happened, we would be working for the reelection of President Cheney, not Bush, as he would have been impeached for that), while the insist that there is no relatinship between Iraq and Al Quaida, while they bitch and moan about the inability of the American Government to imagine the kind of evil that was Mohammed Atta's mind, another American civilian was murdered.

It is way past time for our politicians (one can hardly call them statesmen and statewomen) to get the fuck off of their high horse of 20/20 hindsight and get their acts together to fight this war against those Islamic terrorists who will stop only when we all bow towards Mecca five times a day.

It is even more past time for the media, which should be morally charged with reporting the news, the facts, and not opinions unless expressly stated, to stop playing politics with this war and to start taking a clear, eyes wide open, look at the facts.

The facts are these: There are a bunch of Muslims who take the Koran very literally and then some. They want to take over the world and convert us to Islam, their brand of Islam, and they want to kill all of us who would disagree.

What is so fucking hard about understanding this? ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and NPR appear to think it is all America's fault.
Apparently, they think it would be better for us to roll over and allow our morals and values to be taken over by a warped religion that allows slavery and makes women things.

You know, this is a really non-PC thing to say, but I don't give a shit what happened to those Islamofascists at Abu Gharaib. Those people in that jail were not good people. Many of them tortured and murdered their own people. More of them murdered us.

I don't care what that drunk idiot Ted Kennedy thinks, they are scum, and though I don't like that they were humiliated, that is a far, far cry from torture.
If all that happened to them was to be forced into fake oral sex with one of the other scum in that prison, well, too bad. None of them had their genitals cut off and stuffed in their mouth - but many of Saddam's victims did.

I wish we could just let the Israilis at them. Or even the Brits - they are allowed to torture to an extent.

But mostly, I want our so-called Democrat leaders to quit thier blame games and get with the President on defeating the greatest threat our country has known since Hitler.

UN Inspectors prove that Bush Did Not Lie

How is the Democratic Underground going to spin this?

The United Nations has determined that Saddam Hussein shipped weapons of mass destruction components as well as medium-range ballistic missiles before, during and after the U.S.-led war against Iraq in 2003.

The UN Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission briefed the Security Council on new findings that could help trace the whereabouts of Saddam's missile and WMD program.

The briefing contained satellite photographs that demonstrated the speed with which Saddam dismantled his missile and WMD sites before and during the war. Council members were shown photographs of a ballistic missile site outside Baghdad in May 2003, and then saw a satellite image of the same location in February 2004, in which facilities had disappeared. al Qaeda operatives are pleased with the change in government resulting from the March 11 terrorist bombings in Spain and may want to affect elections in the United States and other countries. NEW YORK: Tests on an artillery shell that blew up in Iraq on Saturday confirm that it did contain an estimated three or four liters of the deadly nerve agent sarin, Defense Dept. officials told Fox News Tuesday.

Had that shell worked the way it was made to, a gallon of Sarin would have done a lot of damage.

My heart breaks when I read about Americans being beheaded by crazed Islamofascists.

I become frightened when I look around and our media, our own free press, in search of the exciting story, make the US out to be bad and evil, and excuse the scum who commit atrocities (not just humiliation, but out and out atrocities on a par with Hitler's actions) to get ratings.

Does NBC, CBS, ABC and CNN just want to hand our country and our lives to the crazed idjits of the third world (and France)?

Do you know how daring Michele is to say what she says - and how ashamed we should all be that telling the truth has become something that can be defined as daring?

Spanish Leader Pulls Troops From Iraq

The prime minister ordered Spanish troops pulled out of Iraq as soon as possible Sunday, fulfilling a campaign pledge to a nation still recovering from terrorist bombings that al-Qaida militants said were reprisal for Spain's support of the war.

Do something for yourself this weekend

Make yourself feel great. Help out a Soldier, Marine, Airman or Seaman. If you see a member of the US Armed Forces eating dinner or lunch or breakfast with their family, pick up the tab. You will feel incredibly good for doing so. If they ask you why, just tell them you are proud of them for serving our country.

I have always thought about doing this - and tonight, I finally did it. A mom, dad and son were celebrating his graduation from Basic Training. I picked up their tab. I suspect I got as much or more out of it than the mom, dad and young Private First Class.

Mom came and asked why, I told her that I just appreciated her son's willingness to serve the country, and that I was proud of him.

She hugged me. I hugged her.

Again, you will get more out of doing this than you can possibly imagine.

OK, Lefties, how do you explain this?

Army divisions hit re-up targets - from the Washington Times -

Army divisions that fought the past 12 months in Iraq have met virtually every re-enlistment goal, a sign that the all-volunteer force remains strong under the stress of frequent deployments and hazardous duty.

How often have we seen on the Daily Kos or the DU that Soldiers are going to quit as soon as then can and then come back and get us conservatives?

Do you suppose these left of Stalinists will admit that they were wrong? Do you suppose they will understant that Soldiers do 'get it' and are willing to lay thier lives on the line to fight terrorism?

I doubt it.

The Washington Times states further:

"This tends to rebut armchair critics who said the sky is falling and the vultures are circling and the Army is gong to lose all its troops," said Lt. Col. Franklin Childress, an Army spokesman at the Pentagon. "This is not true. The soldiers get it."
The Army also met its recruiting goal of 73,800 inductees last fiscal year, and 34,000 for the first six months of this fiscal year, which began Oct. 1.
"Soldiers are extremely resilient," said Col. Elton Manske, chief of the enlisted division at Army headquarters in the Pentagon. "There is absolutely no sign of a 'hollow Army.' Soldiers are continuing to re-enlist at least at historic rates."

Looks like caving to terrorists doesn't stop them

From CNN: Bomb found on Spanish rail line - Apr 2, 2004

MADRID, Spain (CNN) -- An explosive device has been found along a high-speed railway serving Madrid and Seville in Spain, Interior Minister Angel Acebes said. The bomb contained 10-12 kilograms (22--24 pounds) of dynamite connected to a detonator by a 131-meter (430-foot) cable, the interior ministry said. Trains on the line were halted Friday after a railway employee discovered a suspicious package along the tracks near the town of Villaseca de la Sagra, in Toledo province south of Madrid, a spokesman for the Civil Guard national headquarters in Madrid told CNN.

So, the Spanish people vote out the current administration in an attempt to prevent future terrorists attacks and the terrorists STILL want to destroy Spaniards.

People on the left - take note. Islamic fundamentalists want to destroy Western Civilization. They are not going to stop killing even if you do what they want.

They are going after Europe now.

Yesterday's Horror

Go read Peggy Noonan's column on the events in Fallujah.

It is possible that the atrocity in Fallujah was spontaneous or not fully thought through, but it doesn't look like it. It seems likely to have been at least to some degree, and perhaps a high degree, well planned and calculated. The brutalizing of the bodies was done in a way that seemed imitative, as all have noted, of the incident in Mogadishu, Somalia, where in 1993 a frenzied mob dragged the dead body of a U.S. Army Ranger through the streets. The civilized world was horrified, and everyone knows what followed: a quick American retreat.

It is not a stretch to imagine the young murderers of Fallujah had this on their minds: Do it again to America, kill them and string up their corpses, because when you do this America leaves.

And so this time the response must be the opposite of the response in Mogadishu.
We know what the men and boys who did the atrocity of Fallujah look like; they posed for the cameras. We know exactly what they did--again, the cameras. We know they massed on a bridge and raised their guns triumphantly. It's all there on film. It would be good not only for elemental justice but for Iraq and its future if a large force of coalition troops led by U.S. Marines would go into Fallujah, find the young men, arrest them or kill them, and, to make sure the point isn't lost on them, blow up the bridge.

I agree with Peggy.

Jen Martinez has a great post on Fallujah, also.

Pulling out of Somalia and not finishing the job was a mistake, and a costly one at that. It also sent a message to our enemies, one of weakness. It taught them that all they had to do was commit an unspeakable crime against our loved ones and we would turn around and run away. We are going to have to take a stand or we stand to loose it all. I believe the government should stop preaching to us how kind, good and peaceful muslims and their islam religion are. Actions speak louder than words, my friends, and we've seen muslims in action in Somalia, Iran, Lebanon, Iraq and countless other locations. This is not Somalia 1993 with Clinton at the helm, the media must stop making that comparison. They are attempting to undermine all that we've achieved thus far by leading the sheeple down a certain path. I want retribution and I want it now.

Me, too, Jennifer.

More thoughts on Israel

The 'international community" is up in arms about Israel's actions to defend herself from Hammas terrorists. But I think of it this way - if we knew where Bin Laden was, and we were unable to arrest him for whatever reasons - I am pretty damn sure we would not hesitate to attack and kill him, even though he has kidney problems. Heck, we have a huge reward on Bin Laden's head - dead or alive.

Why does the world expect Israel to behave differently about the leaders of terrorists groups in their midst?

Hamas chief killed in air strike.

Hamas said Israel had "opened the gates of hell" - but the army said the Sheikh had been "personally responsible" for the killing of Israelis.

Security forces killed the Hamas leader in an air strike on his car in northern Gaza Strip, an army statement said.

Reports from the scene said Sheikh Yassin was being pushed in his wheelchair when he was directly hit by a missile.

Yes, Yassin was in a wheelchair, but you know, he never hesitated to send suicide bombers into restaurants, school buses and busy street corners, so I have no objection to it.

A year later, I am still sure that the US and our allies have done the right thing. I read about the people protesting the War, and I have to shake my head. It appears that they are all so pissed off that Bush is the president that they are incapable of logical thought.

There is no use arguing with them. They are unable to allow anyone with an opposing viewpoint to speak.

I wish I could take them back in time so they could see Germany a year after WWII was over. Would they still say that Iraq is a quagmire? Would they feel that we should have left Hitler alone because he was elected by the Germans?

Just wondering.

Seems like Europe is going to do it all wrong

I hope and pray that Spain will be the only country to cave in to terrorism in the coming months and years. I suspect that the Spanish People will regret their vote - sooner or later, the terrorists will want more, and blow up more people. The Socialists have just demonstrated to the terrorists that Spain can be pushed around. What if terrorists threaten to blow up Madrid unless Spain makes Islam the official state religion? Will the Spanish cave in to that?

Now it appears as though the French Government has received a threat of terrorism in reaction to the banning of headscarves in French public schools.

I am sure the French thought they were safe because they did not join the US in the war on terror. Will they rethink their strategy of how to deal with Islamofascists? It will be interesting to find out.

Terrorists in Spain - who are they?

Al Qaeda Claims Bombings according to the London-based Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper.

An email to the London-based Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper said the Brigade of Abu Hafs al-Masri was responsible for the worst terrorist attack on a European city since the second world war.

It also warned that a "big attack" on the US was "90% ready".

"The death squad (of the Abu Hafs Al-Masri Brigades) succeeded in penetrating the crusader European depths and striking one of the pillars of the crusader alliance - Spain - with a painful blow," the email said.

"We bring the good news to Muslims of the world that the expected 'Winds of Black Death' strike against America is now in its final stage...90 percent (ready) and God willing near."

The Spanish government, however, suspects that Basque Separatists (Eta) may be to blame.

Either way, hundreds of innocent civilians have been killed and probably several thousand injured in the attacks.

I hope the Dimocrats wake up and realize that this is a war and we must win it.

Daily KOS readers are a bit

Finally, a brave, superior reader of the site, Canuck Coot, commented on the post:

Your problem mostly is, you fascists are dead from the neck up anyway. That or your wearing your brownshirt buttoned up to the top again, and your neck is just too fat. (Obesity being the problem it is with you folks, I read in NewsWeek.)

KOS is actually quite mundane, tame stuff. You Yankees don't know what real controversy and debate even is. You spend too much time involved in your own little incestuous world, dreaming your Great Power fantasies that lead only to defeat in places like Vietnam, and soon to be Iraq.

Notice how polite this Canuck guy is. No name calling from him, eh?

Since when do we call any kind of plane a warplane? Damn, Reuters is fricking weird! My Way - News

I thought they were called fighter jets!

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The skies above New Year's Eve revelers in New York, Las Vegas and some other U.S. cities will be off-limits to certain aircraft and patrolled by warplanes as part of increased vigilance for terror attacks, the Department of Homeland Security said on Tuesday.

Somehow, I suspect that no one in the Department of Homeland Security used the heretofor unknown word "warplane". I betcha it's them Reuters folks who think all Americans are 'warmongers'?

The frickin' Reuter's writer goes on to say:

The United States blames Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda organization for the deaths of nearly 3,000 people on Sept. 11, 2001, when hijacked planes slammed into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania.

Hmmm - we blame bin Laden's outfit, eh? As if they had not already taken credit!! Geeze, Louise. Who pays Reuters? I say, cut them off!

Then, to further clarify what they believe:

Warplanes are often on patrol or on standby in key areas of the country, like the eastern corridor from New York to Washington, when the alert level is raised to orange.

Ends up, Tom Ridge said this:

"We will have in play ... not only temporary flight restrictions over cities but we will have aviation patrolling the skies and on alert," Ridge said on CBS's "Early Show."

Seems that the 'warplanes' term strictly belongs to Reuters.

sorry Glen. It works.

Yahoo! News - France finds no evidence to support US scare over Air France flights

An anti-terrorist investigator told AFP that there were "insufficient elements to justify opening a judicial inquiry."

He said the US intelligence given to the French counter-espionage service DST, based on wiretaps and other sources, had focused on one name that US authorities thought might be tied to Al-Qaeda.

But checks showed that the individual in question, a Tunisian man with a pilot's licence, was still in Tunisia, not France, and that he was not in French anti-terrorist files.

I'll betcha that Saddam was not in French anti-terrorist files, too - in fact, shouldn't those files be called terrorist files?

ISTANBUL, Turkey -- Two explosions shook downtown Istanbul on Thursday, one in front of the Turkish headquarters of HSBC and another at the British consulate. At least 13 people were killed and 200 injured, media reports and officials said.
The blast in front of the HSBC building was in the Levent district, according to media reports. Ambulances took several injured to hospitals, CNN-Turk television footage showed. London-based HSBC is the world's second-largest bank.
Another bomb ripped off the wall surrounding the garden of the British consulate in the downtown Beyoglu district. Ten people were reported killed in that explosion, private CNN-Turk television said. That figure couldn't be confirmed.

Now, of course, lefties in Great Britain will blame Bush.

Update - here is a link to CNN for their coverage of blasts:

terrorists bomb again

Car Bombs at Turkey Synagogues Kill at Least 20

I think that Misha is right, this is a world war - the terror is hitting every continent.

And all, thanks to the 'peaceful' religion of Islam.

I knew it had to happen

Finally, someone has really gotten pissed off at my post about Israel and its right to exist. She says "I consider myself a Palestinian-American", and to go much beyone that pretty much gives you an idea of where she is coming from.
Anyway, please read her rant, she deserves her time to speak, also.

I don't consider myself a close-minded person, but she is certainly free to think that of me.
The few errors I made in my original post were correct by my husband in the comments. The rest of the post is historically accurate.

You said you have been in the US for 15 years - I assume you are a citizen now?
If so, please consider yourself American rather than a hyphenated American.

Let Jordan give "Palestinians" a homeland. Or Syria, or Lebanon.

I have also met Muslims that were not hell bent on destroying Israel, and who genuinely love the United States and become good citizens. They are few and far between, though.

I never stated that all Muslims were evil, only those Muslims who want to destroy Israel.

I don't have time to defend myself any further at the moment, as I have to go to work,

The Patriette left a comment after Dina did, please feel free to read that. I'll leave comments open on that post until I leave for England, then I'll turn all comments off as I'll have no way to moderate them.

Oh, and as an example of kind wonderful Muslims in the Middle East - read this - about a Hammas family's act of kindness towards an Israeli soldier.

Update: Dina says she does not want Israel to be non-existent, that puts her in the good guy column.

religion of peace

To celebrate the beginning of Ramadan, 5 suicide bombers spread across Baghad in their explosive vehicles and managed to murder as many as 39 people - 12 people at the Red Cross - indeed, the Red Cross is a threat to Islam, eh?

An ambulance driven into the gates of the Red Cross building caused the devastation in the first bomb.
- an ambulance.

from WSJ Online (subscription necessary)

"police said 27 were killed in the police station bombings, most of them Iraqis but including at least one U.S. soldier."

For more details see: BAGHDAD BOMBS KILL 19, WSJ.COM.

How can anyone say that Islam is a religion of Peace? bullshit.

more DOS attacks yesterday

Even Lileks comments on the repeated Denial of Service Attacks on hostingmatters (I bet those folks are exhausted after yesterday, but they did a good job chasing away the evil Goblins.)

In today's The Bleat Lileks comments:

"As you may have read - not in newspapers, heaven forfend - a large portion of the blogworld has been crippled by attacks on the company that hosted a pro-Israel website, and the attacks are coming from servers that host Al Qaeda groups. This makes me uneasy; theres's something else going on here, I think. It's like hearing reports from Alaska radar stations of peculiar blips on the screen. Someone's testing something."

Yup, makes me nervous too.

OBL accuses the US of running a Crusade - as if that is a bad evil thing. Let's think about things - the Crusades started after the Moslems attacked and overtook a good deal of the Christian and Jewish world. Ralph Peters of the New York Post has a great column explaining this:
The Longest Struggle.
He opines that the current war against terrorism is merely a continuation of the war started by Islam way back in the middle of the 7th Century.

It is a great column. Go read it - remember I am She who MUST be obeyed!!

Michael Moore has gone off the deep end.

Read the transcripts from CNN's Crossfire of October 10th: CNN.com - Transcripts

Read Michael Moore's words:

"MOORE: I'd like to ask the question whether September 11 was a terrorist attack, or was it a military attack? We call it a terrorist attack. We keep calling it a terrorist attack.

But it sure has the markings of a military attack. And I'd like to know whose military was involved in this precision, perfectly planned operation. I'm sorry, but my common sense has never allowed me to believe since that day that you can learn how to fly a plane at 500 miles per hour. And you know, when you go up 500 miles an hour, if you're off by this much, you're in the Potomac. You don't hit a five-store building like that.

You don't learn how to do that at some rinky-dink flight training school in Florida on a little video game with PacMan buttons. I'm sorry. I just don't buy that."

As this bs goes on, the man basically accusses the government and the military of flying planes into the World Trade Building, the Pentagon and out in Pennsylvania.

Why anyone should believe anything this idiot says is beyond me.

EU condemns Gaza Attack

EU Business - EU demands Arafat act after Gaza attack

EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana called Arafat and told him to "act decisively to identify, arrest and punish the perpetrators of this attack."

I'm happy Mr. Solana is pressuring Arafat.

I am a little concerned, though, that he said it was an "unacceptable attack against foreign and diplomatic personnel." - which kinda sorta indicates that there is such a thing as an acceptable attack against foreign and diplomatic personnel.

This is very very bad

U.S. convoy bombed in Gaza; at least 3 people killed.

I will bet that before the day is out, there will be left wing wackos insisting that we need to stop all aid to Israel, because it endangers Americans. And I'll be some idiot Democrat running for president will agree - my guess, Dennis Kucinich.

Bombing in Baghdad

Damn, this worries me:Recent bombings in Baghdad.
I have a friend who works for the DOD who was recently sent to Baghdad. I am worried about her. And I am pissed as hell at the damned terrorists who did this and who are continuing to do this kind of thing all over the world. People who do this kind of thing deserve to die, hell they want to die for their fucking religion.

John of Argghhhh!, my beloved spouse, may disagree with me, but I want more troops in Iraq now. I want overwhelming force there and I want us to kill all the sons of allah who are killing Americans and Iraqi civilians. And I think we should shoot first and ask questions later.
Frankly, I don't give a shit what the UN thinks of us. Most of the world despises us anyway - why don't we give them reason the fear the hell out of us.
