Sarah Palin!
Last night, Sarah Palin's speech to the Republican Convention must have sent chills of fear down the legs of Obama's media supporters instead of the chills going up the leg of Chris Matthews on MSNBC.
Sarah's speech was fantastic.
I've been surfing the net, reading opinions of Sarah Palin's acceptance speech.
I think it is amusing that the MSM has suddenly discovered that Sarah Palin had a Speech Writer! My God, what is the world coming to? Can you imagine that? I suppose Obama doesn't need a speech writer? No, he has a speech writer, too. In fact, nearly all politicians at the national level have speech writers.
Of course, the MSM "reporters" suggested that Sarah was unusual in using a speech writer - suggested that she had no input, and were very upset that the speech writer had also written speeches for President Bush. If that's all they can come up with, Sarah did great!
Jonah Goldberg on the Corner said:
She was put on this earth to do two things: kill caribou and kick butt. She's all out of caribou.
There are tons of great comments about our future VP, and eventually, President, all over the web - go, read, enjoy.
And lefties - eat your hearts out!
I have a ton of farm stuff to get done today - we are having the coldest September in my memory, and the chicken's houses are not ready for cold, wet weather!

I still haven't seen/heard/read the transcript, but the bits and pieces I've caught were awesome!

We've had a cold snap over here, too. Last night, the temp dipped all the way down to 107F.

"Number 82" is now in 12th place in Google, BTW.

She's out of caribou because those thugs in Alaska are allowed to hunt them to near-extinction, preventing us lower 48'ers from the joy of the wildlife!

Sarah is a "breath of fresh air" just what we need. I am most impressed with her.

I'll admit that I didn't know Sarah Palin enough to feel thrilled at her selection. But she sure wowed me at the convention. Her speech (ooh, a speechwriter ... what a concept!) was delivered well, she really hit her high points with energy, and I was completely taken with her fresh and open demeanor. Terrific choice!
