Busy Monday!

Wow, I was actually on KMBZ radio this morning - for an hour - on a panel to discuss last Friday night's Presidential Debate.

It was rather nerve-wracking as I was a few minutes late due to the new puppy not getting out the way as I tried to drive out and because I tried to print out a transcript of the debate to refresh my memory - that was no help - but it's okay. I don't think I totally screwed up, but oh my, I had such stage fright.

There are two podcasts you can download - one for each half hour (though I'm sure with breaks and news and weather, etc., it probably only came to 30 minutes).

The two morning hosts for the news on KMBZ, Ellen Shank and EJ, were wonderful, kind and patient. They were also funny. I've never been in a radio studio before, and it's really amazing how everything runs so smoothly. Wow. It was cool!

Then I had a late breakfast at Panera Bread and then I came home to find that Buffy, the Coyote Slayer was still inside the house - she is supposed to be an outside puppy!

So I took her outside with me and we cleaned the barn stalls and added the goat leavings to the compost pile, fed the goats, etc.

Then, I noticed some strange goat behaviour, and it hit me - the bucklings are going into rut and the doelings are going into season.

I'll have to take a video of the courting - much head butting!

Now, it is time for me to get into Leavenworth for my pottery class. I'll be back later!
