The idiocy of liberalism communism and today's Democrats
Yesterday, a man came by the farm to write me a check for the old milk storage tank that is taking up way too much space in my barn. This man owns a distillery here in Kansas, and has made a lot of money through the years by building business and then eventually selling them to big corporations. I'll call him Mr. Capitalism, because he said that he is a devout capitalist.
I had a very nice conversation with him until the topic turned to energy. See, Mr. Capitalism is really pissed off about the price of gasoline and diesel. This Devout Capitalist, who is a charming, 71 year old rich guy, is also a Democrat. I was really surprised when he said that the first thing Obama should do once he is office is to NATIONALIZE the Oil Companies and the Railroads.
Holy Shit! I think his claim to being a devout capitalist just went down the drain!
He thinks that state run energy is the only way for prices to come down. I looked at him, and I said," Mr. Capitalism, I believe that would be unconstitutional. Private ownership of property is one of the basic freedoms that the Constitution guarantees."
This very nice older gentleman, very wealthy "capitalist" pointed out that other countries do it, so we should too.
I politely wrapped up our conversation with the excuse that I needed to get my horses prepared for Brian the Farrier to trim and shoe their hooves, so we parted on friendly terms.
But then, I turned on one of the Sunday political shows on TV and there was a clip of Maxine Waters:
And Maxine, though she could not think of the word for nationalizing (stealing) corporations, didn't limit it to oil - she said "we will take over all your corporations".
Oh, just lovely. The Federal Government is bloated beyond all reason now. I certainly don't want the government to manage our health care, and I definitely don't want them managing any corporation, especially oil.
Later on, I switched to another show. The very angry mother of an autistic son was demanding legislation for hate speech, so that Michael Savage could be properly punished for saying a stupid thing.
I'm sorry, angry parents of autistic children everywhere, but we live in the USA, not Canada, not Great Britain. We DO NOT REGULATE SPEECH! The woman spoke as if we already had hate speech laws. Thank God we do not have laws to tell us what to think and what to do.
What Michael Savage said was dumb, but I have to agree that it seems that everyone I know with children has at least one autistic child - from the severe autism of a little girl I know to the very mild forms of autism (they have added a lot of behaviours to what is and is not autism lately) like Asperger's Syndrome.
Heck, half the adults I know and love have autistic tendencies from time to time, myself included, but who cares? These upset parents of autistic children need to grow up and realize that freedom carries some responsibility to allow other people to have the freedom to say whatever they want on TV, Radio, newspapers or the internet.
I don't want the Government regulating anything like speech, oil companies or health care. They will really suck at it.
Really.
And we will no longer be the wondrous and free country that we are now.
So please, write your congresspersons and remind them that they need to deal with government issues - wars, toting the mail, making sure that the roads are safe, etc. And to stay the hell out of regulating what we say, and what we think.

Support Harry’s Place Blogburst
Harry’s Place, a UK blog dedicated to promoting the ideals of freedom and democracy, is being sued by Mohammed Sawalha, the President of the British Muslim Initiative, which has been linked to Hamas and the Islamic Brotherhood, both terrorist organizations. The blog reports that Mr. Sawalha, according to the BBC…
“master minded much of Hamas’ political and military strategy” and in London “is alleged to have directed funds, both for Hamas’ armed wing, and for spreading its missionary dawah”.
In their revelation of the impending lawsuit against them leveled by Mohammed Sawalha, they write:
Mr Sawalha claims that we have “chosen a malevolent interpretation of a meaningless word”. In fact, we did no more than translate a phrase which appeared in an Al Jazeera report of Mr Sawalha’s speech. When Al Jazeera changed that phrase from “Evil Jew” to “Jewish Lobby”, we reported that fact, along with the statement that it had been a typographical error.
Mr Sawalha has been the prime mover in a number of Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood associated projects. He is President of the British Muslim Initiative. He is the past President of the Muslim Association of Britain. He was the founder of IslamExpo, and is registered as the holder of the IslamExpo domain name. He is also a trustee of the Finsbury Park Mosque….
…Mr Sawalha says that the attribution of the phrase “Evil Jew” to him implies that he is “anti-semitic and hateful”. Notably, he does not take issue with our reporting of the revelation, made in a Panorama documentary in 2006, that he is a senior activist in the clerical fascist terrorist organisation, Hamas.
It looks like Harry’s Place is going up against some pretty top-notch lawyers on this one, and they’ve got guts, but as the post goes on to say:
If Mr Sawalha persists in attempting to silence us with this desperate legal suit, we will need your help.
We won’t be able to stand up to them alone.
This is why we’ve started this blogburst, to get the word out that we won’t let members of Hamas or any radical terrorist group censor us or any of our fellow bloggers.
If you’d like to add your site to the blogroll, simply email us at admin@neoconstant.com, and include your site’s URL.
Then copy and paste this entry into one of your posts. Future posts will be emailed to you. Thanks, and don’t forget to head over to Harry’s Place to show your support of their freedom of speech!

Happy Birthday, America!
My friend, Cassandra, has written a Love Letter to America that you simply must read.
This is such a wonderful country. I thank God every morning that I am an American. We are a great nation, and we are more free than anyone else on earth. I can only wish that someday all people will have the freedom we have.

Presidential Race
Gosh, I hope the Obamamites don't see the title of this post - it's not meant to be racial, but about the race for President, the contest. Remember how Obama and all the Dems said that there would be no race in the race? That was obviously bullshit; meaningless and worthless talk.
Now, Mr. Obama has made the grand and terribly incorrect assumption that Republicans are racists. All Republicans. In fact, anyone who does not think Obama should be anointed as our Savior to Change the evil United States must be racist.
Obama told a fundraiser in Jacksonville, Florida. "We know what kind of campaign they're going to run. They're going to try to make you afraid."They're going to try to make you afraid of me. He's young and inexperienced and he's got a funny name. And did I mention he's black?"
I am not afraid of Obama - I am afraid of his policies. I am afraid of his socialist leanings. I am afraid of the high taxes he promises. I am afraid of his anti-2nd Amendment history. I am NOT afraid of his race. I am afraid that he will isolate the USA from the rest of the world with high tariffs and with his foreign policy. I am afraid of his lies.
And yes, I do count his inexperience and obvious bad judgment in picking associates against him. You are known by the company you keep.
Obama's ties to ACORN - notorious organization known for signing up non-existent new Democrat voters in Kansas City and St. Louis - indicate to me that he thinks cheating is a fine thing to do. But that's not really new for Democrats - especially those from Chicago.
Dammit. That pisses me off. I will not vote for Mr. Obama and yet, I am not racist. I won't vote for the man because I do not like his ideas of "Change" and "Hope". To Mr. Obama, "Change" apparently means taking more of our hard-earned money and spending it on more government entitlement programs. I'm pretty sure he will make sure all the people in inner cities get a raise in their entitlements to pay them back for voting for him.
And I'm pretty sure his idea of "Hope" is that he hopes he can steal from the middle class and upper middle class and take the money and hand it over to people he believes are worthy. He probably "Hopes" that we will all just worship at his feet, as he reads from his teleprompter meaningless slogans and promises.
So I will not be voting for Mr. Obama and his mean, nasty wife. He has shown poor judgement in attending a racist church for 20 years and by making crooks and domestic terrorists his pals.
No, no, no. No Obama!
