Time to sow

At least in the basement! But first, I am going to take a notebook, camera and my 4-way soil analyzer kit to check out some areas I want to use for planting various things. Like some grapes and blackberries and raspberries and veggies and flowers.

I need to see what kind of improvement the soil needs so far as PH and fertilizer, as well as determine if the spot is likely to get the right amount of moisture and sunlight to support the plants.

It is actually 59 degrees right now. There is still snow on the hills that face north, and the ponds still have a lot of ice on them, but I need to go and take advantage of this weather now, as this afternoon, a front will move in with great huge thunderstorms and tomorrow it will snow.

Don't ya love March?
