My guess is that the Democrats are very relieved at this news
Cindy Sheehan quits the Democratic Party.
I can't imagine anyone other than the denizens of Democratic Underground and Daily KOS are unhappy about Cindy's leaving the Democrats.
Call me silly, but this statement of the SheHag almost looks like she would like to get rid of the two party system - I'm curious as to what this woman would replace it with!
The Camp Casey Peace Institute is calling all citizens who are as disgusted as we are with you all to join us in Philadelphia on July 4th to try and figure a way out of this "two" party system that is bought and paid for by the war machine which has a stranglehold on every aspect of our lives.

Yeah, she's a real heroine. Don't like something within your party...? Leave and call them names! For goodness sakes, don't stay and work to change what you don't like!!!!!!!!
She's a socialist, anyway; the dems are just too warm & fuzzy for her tastes.

I was willing to cut Mrs. Sheehan some slack as a woman unhinged by grief at the loss of her son. My sister-in-law is similarly deranged, and her son (my nephew) is not even in Iraq, but happily learning how to blow stuff up with the Marine Corps.
Maybe now her family will see about getting her some help.
