Winter has arrived at Castle Argghhh! The first storm is going on now - ice and sleet and it's 27 degrees. It should let up by morning - when we might get no snow, or we might get 10 inches of snow - depending on which way the winds blow, I guess.
It's the time of year when cooking is fun. Long, slow simmering of stews and soups and sauces just warms me up.
And yeah, I'm not cooking now, but tomorrow . . . Just wait - I'll do my famous spaghetti sauce for John.
That will make him happy! And . . . I might even make some Italian bread, too. I have garlic and flour, yeast and water and parmesan - should do it?
