Anybody else out there despise the AK's? Just me, I guess. The things work when dirty and the cartridge is reasonably effective, so why do I hate them so?

I'm not a fan of the pissant 5.56, but the weaponry has improved greatly. Now if only the cartridge could be more betterer.

Despise is a strong term, Dan, but I'm not a great fan.

I do have one in the collection, as a representative example.

But I've never liked how it came up to my shoulder.

Of course, I haven't liked a modern weapon since the M14, so I'm a bit unreasonable.

I dunno about you being that unreasonable, John. I've run across half a dozen who've shot both the M-16 and the M-14 who say that we should field and train with both, but really would only want the M-14 for themselves.
Of course, all those guys have t-shirts older than me.....

The T-shirts are made about once a year by a guy with the handle "Greywolf" who used to post on AR15.com. Usually he contacts me when there's going to be another run, and I post contact information for him. I'll try to remember to let you know if he does another one.
