Silly argumentation. You are implying then, that, therefore, he cannot say anthing, unless it's approved by the Vatican Imam?

As for the rest, well, hey, at least when they're found, they're arrested and generally dealt with - and no the Church in the US (where the problem mostly exists) has smothered itself in ignominy by it's protection of the pedophiles. But, therefore, Benedict can say nothing, ever, not approved by some mythical council on appropriateness.
