This is a fun exercise

Go over to Caltech Girl's place and add a couple of paragraphs to the story she started - it is Two Paragraph Tuesday.

This is the first time I've attempted something like this, and I found it to be fun, because you can turn the story around or do anything you want with it - or even make Bulwer-like sentences. (Every year I intend to enter the Bulwer Litton bad sentence contest, but I always forget).
