Debbie Schlussel may have gone a little too far
Apparently, Ms. Debbie has made all kinds of false accusations about plagiarism, etc., about this organization, Northeast Intelligence Network.
I hope that these folks will take legal action, seems they might have the backing to do so.
And if they don't - I still have that form from the Michigan Bar association sitting here on my desk . . .
You know, if Ms. Schlussel spent 1/10th as much time actually checking her facts before spouting off as she does in pillorying anyone who disagrees with her in the slightest or who noticed the same stuff in the news, she might actually be able to report knowledgeably on terrorism. But I wouldn't hold my breath on Debbie suddenly becoming rational in the face of criticism.

Comments
I clicked on over here because I LOVE the name of your blog. But I had to comment on Debbie Schlussel. I had heard awful things about her from other bloggers, and took it with a grain of salt. I had never quoted her and never linked to her.
A well-known investigator sometimes send me tips on terror-related investigations, and I will double check his information and sometimes post on it. One time, I did just that and mentioned Debbie Schlussel, because the investigator mentioned that she had posted something on the subject at hand. I sent her a trackback, as all polite bloggers would.
I got a hateful comment at Right Truth from her, not an email, telling me that it was HER INVESTIVATION, HER FACTS, and that she should get all the credit. Well, of course I knew better, but I apologized to her, on her site, in a comment for all to see.
Then I swore I would NEVER mention her name again. Now her name is one that 'shall not be mentioned'. ha Turns out the other bloggers were right about her. But I had to give her the benefit of the doubt and learn for myself.
(kick self in butt here) ha
Very nice blog.

So you approve of plagiarism, encourage empty lawsuits, and attract commenters who are for the same. Scratch yourself off the conservative column.
Actually, Northeast Intelligence Network DID plagiarize my work, and that's why, despite your silly hopes, he will never sue me. He can't come up with any source--but me--from which he took the info. His lawyer admitted that. Nice to see you are on the same side as a plagiarist who believes in Bigfoot and UFOs. Tells me a lot about you.
As for Debbie Hamilton of Right Truth, I politely asked her to give me credit for a whole paragraph she posted word for word from my blog but credited the "well-known" investigator for. She knew it was my work and admitted it. But I have removed her apology from my site because it was obviously a lie, based on the additional lie she posted here. The allegedly "well-known" investigator's "investigation" consisted of posting my work from my site, which he reads. Since Debbie Hamilton lied here AND on my site, we can assume her whole site, Right Truth and everything on it is additionally a lie.
Here is the paragraph Debbie Hamilton posted on her site, lifted straight from me--in fact the investigation referred to herein is MY investigation (I called prosecutor Ober's office, etc.) not her "investigator's":
http://www.debbieschlussel.com/archives/2006/06/breaking_outrag.html
"They lied to police about their nationality (Saudi), and they are here on Saudi scholarships for Saudis in American colleges and universities. Of note, one of them has a driver's license, but neither has a car, and they live within walking distance of their classes at the University of Sami's [Al-Arian] Friends, er . . . South Florida. Pursuant to my investigation this morning, Ober has decided to allow the two men to enter a "Misdemeanor Intervention Program" for first time offenders. That means, the charges against them for the school bus incident will be set aside. If they stay out of trouble for a few months the case against them will be dismissed."

As a result of my comments here yesterday, I was contacted by Debbie Schlussel who also contacted the investigator in question. It appears that the investigation was actually done by Debbie Schlussel. That was not clear to me in the email I received from the investigator. In the email it appeared to me, apparently erroneously, that HE had done the investigation and that Debbie Schlussel had also investigated and reported on it.
At the time of the original article, I went back and gave each quote links and credit to Debbie Schlussel's site in three different places.
Today I have gone back and put a note at the bottom to clear up any misunderstanding for readers, if there was any question.
At no time did I take any credit for any information contained in the post. All credit was given to the investigator and to Debbie Schlussel.
The investigator today confirmed the work and credit goes to Debbie Schlussel.
I hope this clears things up, and gives all credit to Debbie Schlussel.

She's still a narcissicon
Hell, she's the queen as far as I am concerned.
Maybe since Debbie, like an adult, admitted a mistake, the OTHER Debbie will admit that the pin in question was a Liberty Eagle pin designed by Ann Hand and given to many women in the US government and not a MEXICAN EAGLE pin as she has claimed and never corrected. Even when she was called upon it more than once or twice.
Accuracy is key, isn't it, Debbie Schlussel?
It would be a good START to making amends and correcting one's own errors. Especially when you are calling on others to correct their mistakes.
Clean your own house, dear. It's called honesty. This Debbie has it.
Do you?

SWWBO, It would probably be best to not link or talk to this blogger because frankly the blogger feeds off the attention and money from hits and is worth neither.
I note the deletion of the comment on that blog an excellent sign of editing reality to suit themselves.
