President Bush is in Baghdad!

Rove has been cleared. We kill Zarqawi. Economy is good.
Bush goes to Baghdad.
Now, if only he would stop illegals from crossing our borders!

Update: Another piece of good news that I missed yesterday: Judge overturns San Francisco weapons ban

Interesting item - will be fun to watch. However, the link in your post got horked somehow, needs to have the extra "http://" at the start removed ;-)

I will be interested in how the California constitution reads on this area, since it may not limit the minicipalities from making stricter laws. It probably limits them from removing state laws, but not necessarily the other way around. For instance, in NY State, you can own guns, but there are strict laws in NYC which are tighter than the state laws.

Like that, over the years, has had a measureable impact on the murder rate in NYC over the years.

Sigh.

More happy news: Michael Newdow lost again!

http://www.thomasmore.org/news.html?NewsID=428

"A California federal trial judge has dismissed the lawsuit filed by Michael Newdow challenging the constitutionality of our national motto, “In God We Trust.” Newdow is the atheist who achieved national attention in his previous unsuccessful attempt to remove the Pledge of Allegiance from public schools because it includes the words “one nation under God.”"

I can go with the "under God" part, which either goes without saying, or is meaningless, depending on yer opinion about the existence, or not, of the Deity.

It's the "one nation" and "indivisible" parts which chap my Confederate ass.
