What a stupid cow.

Debbie fits the bill on all the other choices. Her "arguements" make as much sense as what you would expect from a 15 year old, 8 year old, and Fred Phelps.

Ditto what Carrie and Seawitch said. Especially the Phelps part.

Cow is kind. Arrogant, idiotic, insensitive, and needs to be whacked upside the head with a clue by four. And I'm saying that from size 8.

All humans are beautiful. I'm sorry some people don't get that (because they're shallow, superficial bithes looking for a reason to feel superior to others).

a) I have three daughters. One is a teenager. And yes she is starting to show the signs that being able to eat anything with no recourse has ended.

2) I am terrified of child abduction. But that is why I built a 6 foot privacy fence around my backyard with a gate closed and locked with a combination lock from the inside. My kids spend the majority of the summer OUTSIDE. We have a swingset and numerous other activities. They have weekend and weeknight chores to do as well (schoolwork always comes first though).

3) When my husband met me 9 years ago, I was all of 98 pounds sopping wet. I didn't know it then, but I had Grave's disease and hyperthyroidism. It was easy for me to stay small. Until the car accident. Then my metabolism got messed. I put on weight going from a size 3 to a size 14. I had my thyroid checked as well after my final pregnancy. It was so completely horribly out of whack, that the next step was to kill it off completely. Now, due to having no thyroid, I have hypothyroidism.

Hypothyroidism is very serious. It makes it very hard for a lot of people to loose even one pound. It causes lethargy as well. So while what most people would call lazy snackhording as the problem, it could be that the person needs to have a sensitive-thyroid-test done. Get on the correct dose of Synthroid. Now, it's been three years since then and we are still to this day adjusting my Synthroid. I still battle weight. I'm all of 5'1" and 150 pounds. I wear a size 10. And that is after very hard work of Physical Therapy and a home regimene and diet plan to help me keep the weight off.

My husband - NOT a small man. Take a look at my picture gallory sometime. He's not small by any means. He works out, he exercises, he eats correctly - he is still obviously a big man. I really want him to get his thyroid checked (his mom had to have her thyroid removed when she was younger than he is - thyroid problems are extremely heriditary). In the meantime, if someone were to come up and accuse him of being lazy and a snackwhore, I'd be forced to get in to nasty fight about it. Cause it's not the case.

I see these obese children running around and I do lay the responsibility on the parents' shoulders. It is the parents responsibility to make sure the kid gets off the computer or up from the Playstation every day and get some outside time. It is the parents responsibility to make sure the kid eats correctly - who does the grocery shopping???? You don't want your kid eating junk food? DON'T BUY IT! Be the parent! Blaming this on McD's or BK is not only the wrong answer, it's the wrong people to blame. Yes, those fast food restraunts are there. They have been for YEARS. Our parents didn't sue them because of our eating habits! Who drives those kids to McD's? If you are responsible enough to have children you should be responsible enough to have a grasp on the dangers of letting your kid eat BK 7 nights a week! (Of course I know there are too many out there not responsible enough for either.)

Anyway, being fat can be the fault of the person involved. And sometimes, despite how much or how hard you try, you can't win the battle to society's standards. Medically, something is holding us back. Personally, I'll be keeping up the fight - despite spinal injury and permanent nerve damage in my leg and a torn disc and hypothyroidism - I keep working out and eating right hoping to at least maintain where I'm at (although loosing the weight altogether would be wonderful) so that I don't have to walk out my door with the knowledge that there are some people so ignorant and superficial as Queen of Dumb that are going to make a comment to me that is gonna be the wrong one to make.

Don't forget... Fat people own guns too!
