damn, I'm stuck at the airport
I may be here for quite a while yet. My plane was supposed to leave for Chicago an hour ago, but there is weather there. My connecting flight to Cleveland leaves Chicago at 4:45, so there is still hope - but there are many things I'd rather do than sit in the airport waiting to hear if I will or will not travel today.
Darn that lake effect snow!

For future reference.
You can fly to Indianapolis and drive for about 3 or 4 hours. Half the time whatever is hitting Chicago is dispersed by the time it gets that far south and west.
Having options is always good.

Ah if O'Hare is the navel of air travel, it must be full of lint.
For many years, I had to use it on my way into or out of Des Moines. Many a times got me myself wadded in there
