CNN - Chicken News Network | Main | These are cartoons, people

Hmmmm

I have never cared much for Hugh Hewett. Something about his attitude has always struck me as being rather haughty. Time is proving me right, I'm afraid.

My favorite phrase? "caroonist provocateurs". No, I didn't change the spelling. ;)

Most cartoons are in bad taste, that's what makes them so spot on.

These people have no sense of humor. Sure, it's sacrilegious in the muslim world to render a picture of what's his name... [will I get in trouble if I spell it out, or what?] but it's sacrilegious to me if the US flag is dragged in the dirt. I saw that done yesterday, but did I try to wipe the elderly man and his family from the face of the earth? Did I start a fricking riot and involve all my friends and family in other countries, as well?!
Geez!

Appeasement doesn't go down well, especially if the people we're supposed to be mollifying treat us and our sacred objects like dirt under their feet.

Hewitt's wrong. Dead wrong.

Hewitt lost me with his arrogance during the whole Harriet Myers debacle...
