Bad Commercials
So, what TV Commercial do you hate? Which just irks the heckydarn outta ya?
My favorite bad commercial is Amigo - the commercial for the program that will teach you Spanish. If I see that in the morning, I think of museeka all day long.
John and I hate a lot of commercials, and we mute them as quickly as possible - but the damn Amigo commercial just makes me crazy!
UPDATE: I can't believe I forgot about the creepy Burger King commercials. That 'Burger King' gives me nightmares - how creepy - a mask for a face...

Oh, no... The list is too long...
I hate the ones that tend toward the esoteric; the unintelligible tripe designed to brainwash us with apparently unrelated sequences of events or products.
Just show me a picture of a piping hot pizza and flash the sale price across the screen! That WORKS!
My currently most hated I saw during 24 the other night... The 'Burger King' tripping on his robe while running downfield. WTF?

I find the Burger King to be quite creepy.
I have no desire to ever patronize that 'restaurant' chain after seeing one of those ads.

My first, immediate, and so far continuing response to the 'Burger King' is that my reaction would be both sudden and extremely violent. And probably messy. Now that you mention it, I haven't even thought of going to a BK for quite a while - probably about as long as those things have been running.

AM I the only one who likes the BK football commercials? Egads.
I hate adds for the CHappelle Show. Mostly because I don't find Dave Chappelle funny(and I do understand his humor. It's just that like Andy Kaufman I just don't find it funny).

I loathe the Oxyclean commercials with the guy who yells through his whole spiel. Jeezus! You can hear him all the way down the block, even when the sound is turned down low!

I'm getting sick of the 'Cromagnon' car insurance commercials. Initially they were interesting, but the latest one where they are having a Hollywood hissyfit just is stuuuuped.
Maybe SWWBO should do an election cycle edition of this, seeing how it's around the corner?

As creepy as the Quizno's baby is, I'm just glad they removed the dancing rats, made up in B Western regalia.

On a related issue, what do people think of the radio commercials which are just the soundtrack from TV commercials, and make little sense if you've never seen the imagery?
