Merry Christmas, Everyone

And thanks for reading me from time to time. This year, I am giving myself a present - time. And I hope that this is a present for John, too.

For now, at least, it's bye, bye blog. The time I spend on this (not so much lately) would be better spent on other things - my husband, our son, my house, my horses and my art. Work steals too much of my time to start with - then, to worry about can I post - - well, it's too much time. I want my life back.

I think that the guys over at Castle Argghhh! will let me bloviate if I have the need, but for now, my needs are to have a happy home life, and that requires every bit of extra time I can weasel out of my bosses.

I wish all of you the best of everything and a very Merry Christmas.

May the New Year be one of time for love and fulfillment for you all!

Merry Christmas, Beth! I'm sorry to hear (read?) that you're taking time off from the blog but I most certainly understand. I hope you have a wonderful 2006 and I hope to meet up with you and John again this year.

Just so long as you poke your head up every once in a while. This struggling Catholic needs to know that there others out there.

Good People are hard to find, and the Donovan's are definately Good People. Examples to the rest of us ye are.

Tchus.

I wish you and John a very happy Christmas and wonderful New Year. I will miss reading your blog, but wish you much happiness with new found time taking care of things around your home, and of course spending more time with your sweetheart, John.

LET THE SCRUPLES OUT, MAMA'S ON VACATION!

But seriously, Beth, breaks are a necessary thing. These blogs take a LOT of time- a lot of thought and checking up on. It's not always easy. I usually write silly stuff on mine, but every once in a while, a rant gets through, or a concern, or a hurt. When I started my blog, I used to write stuff all the time- and then immediately delete it. It was a release- nothing more.
Now I wish I had some of those rants.
I'm glad I'm not deleting posts anymore, and I'm glad people like you, John, B and Bill encouraged me to keep it up.

I hope you rant at The Castle when you feel the urge- or else here.

Take a break if you need to, but *do* keep posting here now & then.

Your blog is like the kitchen of Castle Argghhh... homey, sociable, conversational, relaxed... having the chat in John's armaments room just isn't the same.

One must do what one must do. Of course, that won't stop you from checking emails, will it?

Hugs!
