Good for the Brits!

The London Police have killed a suspected terrorist.

Update - the man killed was not a terrorist. This is very sad and tragic. Yes, he was acting suspiciously, and he lived in the same building that British cops raided over the weekend - finding more terror suspects and evidence - but he was apparently an innocent victim of terrorism. I cannot blame the police for reacting as they did under the circumstances.

Yay! Five shots at close range. Nice job, that man. The officer was risking being blown up himself, I would imagine.

I can only pray that there will be no damning "inquiries", liable to harm his family, his health, or his career.

The man was completely innocent, had previously boarded a bus without being challenged and was shot dead on cold blood. Still think it was a nice job?

Actually, Jo, I am very sorry this happened. I see the poor guy as another casualty in this.

Now that the facts have come out, I am inclined to think a shot to the shoulder would have been preferable, as his behaviour was decidedly suspicious.

There are also good arguments for why he behaved this way, but we are living in difficult times.

I have to travel the London Underground with my young daughter. Do you?
