Any Suggestions?

Barnacle, my tortoise shell Cat, has just ruined my power supply for my laptop. For the 3rd time.

This is getting expensive.

Barny doesn't bother any other electric cord. Only my laptop. I wonder if it because I'm paying attention to the computer instead of to her?

Does anyone know how to stop this unacceptable behaviour in kitties?

Armor the cable with a flexible wrap from either the auto parts store or an industrial control supplier.

Spray all your cords with 'Bitter Apple' and then grab your cat by the scruff of the neck and spray some in its' mouth... that should take care of it for about a year... then you'll have to repeat the process!

Nope, no idea. I've never had any problems with the power supply for my laptop. (Apart from the time IBM sent out a recall notice, lest the thing burst into flames.)

Then again, I don't have any cats, either. Which is a roundabout way of saying, nope, no idea.
