I don't care what the Washington Post says

I still love Starbucks Cafe Mocha with caramel drizzle. I will continue to search out a Starbucks in all the cities I go to so I can have my fancy coffee.

WAPO reveals that law students spend money at Starbucks. (Horrors!). Not only that, but complains that expensive coffee put on credit cards is costing future attorneys too much.

When I was in college, we spent much more money on stuff that was really not good for us - in the all-girl dorm I was in my freshman year, we would spend money on such things as chocolate chip cookie dough and beer and nasty Boones Farm Apple Wine. *Yuch*

Today's college students have better taste. Instead of starting the day off with a hangover (as we often did), they are starting the day with a Latte or Expresso or whatever. But still, someone has to critisize.

Anyway, David at Oxblog nicely fisks the Washington Post.

I must now search out Starbucks here in Lakeland, Florida!

Hee.

Oh, and check the Barnes and Nobles - or the mall.

You do realize you are smack dab in the middle of my old territory?!? There is a pretty good BBQ place over just off of County Line Rd...I can see the building, but can't think of the name! "Something Wheel".

Wish I was there - I'd take ya for dinner!!

Oh gawd, how I remember the Boone's Farm!! I love Starbucks; in fact, I only use Starbuck's coffee at home. I buy the big bag of beans and grind them fresh every morning (well, the coffeepot grinds them). What a great way to start the day!

I dunno, plenty of people I know still start the day with a nice healthy hangover.

Beth - Someday, when you visit here, I'll use my Starbuck's Espresso pods and machine, and make you a Mocha!
(*note to self - must buy caramel for drizzling on Beth's cafe mocha*)

Tammi,
They even serve Starbucks in the hospital I'm working at this week (:

Michele,

I have never purchased the Starbucks beans before, but I think I should start. My coffee maker grinds the beans, too - love that!

August,

I suppose hangovers are just a part of college life!

Barb,

Yum. Seattle is one of the few places I have not been to. I will definitely take you up on that offer!
