What kind of pretentious, crazy family would have 14 bridesmaids! Boy, I bet they are pissed, seeing as they had to purchase dresses that are usually only worn one time.

I had two... and I had to steal one of them away from my fiancé's side! (He ended up with a friend and a relation; I ended up with two friends, with my sisters doing readings.)

Emily Post says 1 bridesmaid per 50 people. I had 250, I had 5. She was having 600 people, 12 wins. My question is not so much why she had 14 bridesmaids, but who in the hell has 600 people come to a wedding. Damn. I wonder if the reception was like the NorthEast where they do the full sit down or if it was traditional Southern Baptist of cake, punch and mints.
