I am a child of the 80's- 80's alternative rock, 80's rock, and classic rock were my highest influences.

*distant get well hugs sent your way and John's- don't wanna get too close and catch that nasty bug myself!*

Glad you're home, Beth!

I'm having chart envy - mine is ever so flat compared to yours, Beth!

I call bullshit on that whole quiz. I hate "pop" music. There were no boxes I could check. They did not list the Berliner Philharmoniker, or the Wiener Philharmoniker, or the Eastman Wind Ensemble, or the band of the Grenadier Guards, or the United States Marine Band, or the New Sousa Band, or I Solisti, or the Cleveland Orchestra, or the New York Philharmonic, or any other real (that is, groups who only play music at least 70 years old) band. Argghh!

If those Iranians succeed with their EMP attack, at least we'll be spared from electric guitars for a while! (It is my earnest belief that there is nothing wrong with any rock'n roll band which ever existed which could not be fixed with some Thompsons and some fire axes.)

Say, do y'all think we could persuade them there Iranians to plant anti-personnel mines on golf courses?

JTG - Bite your tongue! Why would you want to mess up my golf courses??

Thanks, Were-Kitten - I am well enough to go to work, but still have a cough and I'm tired. John is still just plain sick!

Actually, we have been lucky - neither of us have been ill for a couple of years or so - not since I got shingles, and that was at least 2 years ago!
