I have SO screwed up!

I completely forgot about the Carnival of the Recipes.

I failed to let poor Bev, taker of beautiful pictures, know about the passwords, where to get the recipes, etc until this morning.

If she can still do it, it will be up sometime this weekend.

If she can't do it, I will push the Carnival hosting dates back one week and I'll put it together.

A Carnival will happen.

Obviously, I need a backup brain. At least when I'm traveling and in New Orleans.

Can I blame it on the drive-thru Daiquiri bars?

I am so sorry.

I will email the world as soon as it is up.

Let me get this straight... You're on the road... in New Orleans, not the best of cities for fostering logical thought to begin with... Your husband has joined you for some fun and debauchery... and you're kicking yourself for forgetting something? LOL!

Heck, I'd forget there was an internet, let alone a carnival... Don't worry, have fun!!!! :)

I SO think it can be blamed on drive thru cocktail bars! (Since I am in California and not more than 40 miles south of Hollywood, I have to "talk the lingo" hence the word "so" in that sentence!)

What Pam said! Monkeysex!

A loss of thoughts while in Nawlens is forgivable. Posting Monkeysex is not! ;-)

I won't know what I need to go grocery shopping for tomorrow! What on earth will I do!?!?! Take deep breaths. Ok. All is well with the world.

The usual remedy for such memory/recall issues is... more coffee. Put some whole beans in your pocket to munch on through the day, if nothing else. Crack a few and keep them in a baggie to sprinkle on meals. And, of course, order coffee with everything. ("How do you want that perm?" "With coffee, of course!")

See: http://thirdworldcounty.blogspot.
com/2005/01/always-worth-posting-again.html for your constant reminder. Learn "O Blessed Holy Caffeine Tree," the hymn to coffee, and sing it at every opportunity to remind yourself to drink more.

I promise you that one of two things will result: you either will stop forgettings such important things or you will be too jazzed to care.
