Now I really hate Microsoft!
Have any of you ever tried to add a word to the Spellcheck for Word and get the message - word not added - custom dictionary is full - ????
WTF???

Beth - Check your gmail inbox. I sent some info that might help. Basically it is possible file corruption, and there are clean up steps in the articles I referenced.

Actually, my problems with spellcheck in this regard have been - I go to add a word... everything freezes and then crashes. *sigh* It's happened often enough that I seriously think about it before I decide to try and add the word.

Teresa - does that happen every time you try to add a word? It might be a file corruption thing. If it only happens sometimes, it would sound more like a resource problem, etc.

Barb - it only happens periodically. I've been pretty sure for quite a long time that Word has a memory leak... in other words (for those who don't know) Word grabs chunks of memory then doesn't release them when it's finished using them... causing all kinds of fun problems. Luckily I don't have to use it very often and I try to reboot after using it 3 or 4 times.
John... ROFL!!!
