Boy, am I embarrassed

When I am traveling, I usually send my husband, John, a note in the morning saying something like: Hi, handsome. Hope you have a good day, and then I often sign it something like love you and lust you.

Well, this morning, I was in a rush, and if you have gmail, you might know that when you are addressing an email, you just have to type in the first letter or two of the recipient's name.

I mis-typed and sent my morning "I love you letter" to a Jeff, not my John.

And Jeff's poor wife got it.

Oh dear.

Sometimes my life is just too bizarre for words!

Hey Beth - I did something worse just yesterday. I have a bad habit of looking up a co-worker in our email system by entering their names on the cc line, then I delete it, unless they are supposed to be included on the thread. Well, I was having a conversation about a third person in a (blush) somewhat derogatory vein. I know, bad idea, but I inadvertently put them on the cc line (I was checking to see what team they were located in)! The person I intended the email for IM'ed me immediately, and I recalled the message before it was read by the wrong person, I hope. That was Bad, Bad, Bad!

Oh dear, as soon as I read that first paragraph I thought uh oh, I can see where this is headed!
We have an instant messaging thing here at work, and it has caused some red faces, I can tell you.
