Why Social Security is in danger
The Left declares there is nothing wrong with Social Security that removing President Bush's tax cuts won't fix.
Their answer to everything is - more taxes, more taxes, damn the 'rich' people.
But let's think about the real reason Social Security is in trouble - we won't have enough working population to support the elderly in coming years because there are too many of us Baby Boomers and not enough young people.
And let's consider a major reason why that is the case.
Abortion on demand. Legal abortion up until the minute before that baby is completely out of the mother's body.
So, in reality, Social Security will be screwed some years down the line because we are aborting our future generations.
In fact, I fully expect the Left to insist that euthanasia be legalized for folks who are too old to be taxed so we are not a burden to society.
Just wait. It will happen. It is happening in Europe now.
The life of an individual human being means nothing to the Left. Nothing.

Interesting that you should bring up the 'too old to be taxed' thing.
The lefty socialist paradise in Cuba refuses expensive medical treatment to people who are too old to repay the cost in taxes.
Palliative care only.
In some respects, that's honest, can't pay, can't play - but that ain't how it's all portrayed by the lefties who love Castro.
Or that thug, Che.

I don't get the greed aspect.
I'd give up every dime I've ever paid into SSI, never to be seen again, if it meant my daughter could have the option of putting her well-earned funds into an IRA, rather than this bottomless mess of a government monster.

You nailed it from top to bottom on this issue. Can you read minds--because you sure read my thoughts on the subject.
What I can't get over is how the Dem's/liberals and the MSM can keep a straight face when they talk about the Social Security "lock box" and how there are actually still people out there that believe that there is an account somewhere with all of their money sitting in it just waiting for then to retire.
There was an episode of SouthPark where they put a box on Kyle (or one of the kids) that shocked him everytime he cussed (like a doggie shock collar.) I wish that there was a box we could put on the Politicians that would shock the hell out of them every time they utter a lie about taxation or SSI in front of a microphone. At least the MSM evening news would be entertaining because I know that I'd be laughing my ass off...
