The heck with bar blogging
I had to come up to my room. There was a tiny little blonde 45 year-old woman talking about her recent hysterectomy - it all its gory detail - and everyone in the hotel bar heard every damn word.
She was sitting about 20 feet from me - at the bar - talking to some poor man who made the ultimate mistake of mentioning that he was a doctor.
Everyone out there in blogoland - listen to me - do not talk about any surgery - ever - in public - especially in an establishment where food and drink are served. And in private, be sure the poor soul you are talking to really wants to hear about it all.

The little blonde woman in my life makes an occasional passing reference to "assisted menopause" but even I haven't had to sit thru an exposition of all the gory details since the end of the entire situation.
