Academy Awards
How many of you have seen any of the movies nominated for Best Movie?
Anyone? Anyone? Buehler?

Well, you and I saw the 'audience test' screening of Finding Neverland... and I've been wanting to see Collateral and The Aviator, but blogging takes up so dang much time!

Not a one for me. I wanted to see Ray, but then never did. Can't decide if Sideways would actually be funny, but might see it. Having heard the rest of the plot of Million Dollar Baby am very happy I wasn't planning on seeing it. The Aviator doesn't thrill me.

Nope, me neither. I've heard great things from friends and family about "Ray" and "Finding Neverland," so I would like to see those.
I agree about "Million Dollar Baby"...the trailers looked so inspiring and uplifting, but I've read what the movie is really about, and I won't be paying for a commercial for a political idea I strongly disagree with.

I haven't seen a one, but I must confess I have no desire to see them, other than "The Aviator".
Now, "Lemony Snicket"... that's one on my list to go see pretty soon.

Nope. Not a one.

I wouldn't pay to see any of them. I'd probably borrow Hotel Rwanda though, if I knew someone who had it.

I've seen Collateral (not that great) and Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind (superb movie, well worth an Oscar)

Cindy - errr? What's your beef? I haven't seen it, just read the reviews, and I don't understand your comment about Million Dollar Baby (not that it's on my list).
I'm just curious about the fire in your comment!

I've only seen "Finding Neverland".

I did some Googling (I've not seen any of them, either), and lets just say that if Cindy were a relative, or my doctor, I would not turst her to follow the terms of my living will.

Hubby and I plan to see The Aviator, and I'd like to see Ray. The others are optional - but I have nothing against them.
