First snow of the season!

Our power went out around 2:00 am and woke me up. (The lack of noise wakes me as easily as too much noise). I looked out the window, and a beautiful, wet snow was falling.

We got nearly 7 inches of snow - it will all be gone by tomorrow, probably, but it is just beautiful today - all the trees are white lacy borders along the streets. It's warm enough that the streets were mostly clear as I drove into work.

Wish I had the day off - I would go for a horseback ride in the woods at Ft. Leavenworth and listen to the quiet.

I'm at work, though, so I'll just daydream about being not here.

And we have still not decided on a name for the new kittie.

How about W after our President?

OK, how about 'Elder God'? As it's becoming obvious that this is 'she (he?) who must not be named'.

ONO for "Oh Nameless One"?

Other odd suggestions - feel free to try them on him:

Palooka
Bartholomew
Laszlo
Finnegan
Nibs
Emeril
Griffin
O'Brien
Lucifer
Ping
Knight
or maybe...
Olivier (after Sir Laurence)

Wooow...sounds beautiful.

I take it you didn't like Zeb. Still with the butler names? How about Jennings, Channing, or Mr. Belvedere?

It's 82 here, and doesn't really 'feel' like I should be getting a turkey ready to go in the oven! Enjoy the snow... :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Pookie? I can't believe John hasn't named that cat yet...

Looks like a Gunner cat, so call him "Splash". Ask John; the other one, not me.

Cheers
