Why I will not vote for Kerry
Bush is not my perfect candidate, but Kerry is even less perfect.
I will not vote for him for the following reasons:
The Statistics quoted below come from Project Vote Smart.
1. He has consistently voted for Gun Control laws -
2003 On the votes that the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence considered to be the most important as of 2003, Senator Kerry voted their preferred position 100 percent of the time. These scores are cumulative for each representative's time in their current office. Interestingly, Kerry has become more and more anti-growth, anti-business every year. He squawks about the economy, and says he has a plan to make it better - but I don't see how someone with Kerry's voting record can possibly have any idea how to improve any economy. Business needs support from the government to compete in a global economy.
3. Kerry has voted with the National Education Association 100% of the time. Yup, the teachers' union that is against private schools, home schools, charter schools, and parochial schools gets all of John's support. The union that does not want teachers to be tested for competency, the union that wants to do everything possible to keep parents out of the education of their children has John Kerry's 100% backing.
The list goes on and on and on. Basically, John Kerry pretty much stands against everything I stand for when it comes to the Bill of Rights, Commerce, the Global War on Terror and more.
He has not presented a plan for anything with specifics.
Let's face it - the only real platform that Kerry is running on is that he is *not* President Bush.

In the beginning and the end - it comes down to one single point... Who do the terrorists fear most? I'm pretty sure it's W - not Kerry. Kerry's inability to come to any definite stance, must have the terrorist rubbing their hands with glee, at the thought of a Democrat victory.
Because if the terrorists start striking in our country, knowing that Kerry won't hit them back, all the rest really doesn't matter a hill of beans. Stem cell research, gay marriage, taxes... all depend on having a functional society. A few - very few - attacks in the right places, would severely impair our ability to function. And if you don't have a functioning society, who the hell cares if you have any of the rest.
So, while I disagree with W on some of his positions, things I think will come back to bite us in the long run... I'd like the BE there in the long run for them to bite me! At least I would get a chance to bite back. Just my 2 cents.
