I emailed in sick today
I woke up at 2:00 am looking around, thinking, what is wrong? Why am I awake? About 3 minutes later, my tummy let me know what was wrong. Ugh.
Anyway, I stayed home today and did a little work - mostly just replying to emails from clients who wanted to know how to do this or that - and then just laying about, tired and achey.
I did have to go to the barn and feed my lovely horses - they were a little grumpy with me because I was late. There is a horsey halloween party tonight and many of the children of families with horses were dressing up their horses in great costumes.
One of my stable friends has 4 horse type critters - her littlest is a half Shetland Pony, half Miniature Horse named Buddy. Buddy is very cute, and tonight he has fairy dust and a heart painted on his rump and wings. A little like a My Little Pony on steroids. I have been promised that pictures will be taken and I will be in receipt of some, I hope! If so, you can see Buddy the Fairy Pony!
Anyway, came back home and I decided that I need some medicine! Strong medicine! So I fixed up a couple of Mexican Martinis and will hopefully medicate my achey self into oblivion and then feel great tomorrow.

We're having friends over tomorrow and finally getting into the liquor, going to fix the recipes for your margaritas. I can't wait.
I bet I'll like them so I'll do it again election night. Of course to celebrate Bush being re-elected. If it's close and they can't announce the results I'll just continue drinking until they do, just hope it's not a whole month. But it will make time fly that way. :D

Yikes, woman!!! After a morning of waking up at oh-God-hundred and having your stomach alert you that all is not well, Mexican martinis is NOT the medication I would follow up with the next evening!!!!!
Take care of yourself.
(I had a few Mexican martinis the other night, I had forgotten what a kick they have... I slept VERY well)

BeeBee,
I swear, I have got to meet you and Big Guy some day! If you guys ever come up to KC, please be sure to let me know - I don't know what part of Texas you live in, but I do make it down to Houston a couple of times a year - if that's anywhere near you, I'll meet you at Papadeoux and buy you a drink - or some crayfish!
Jack,
You are such a nice guy. I sleep so poorly when John is out of town, a Mexican Martini should help me keep up - and so far, after two, I don't feel out of control at all - just hope it helps me to sleep through the night!!

Beth, Do you have White Castles in KC? Big Guy is getting a yen for them, grew up eating the things and now he's got to get a fix periodically. So crazy as it sounds, to keep my Big Guy in running order, and happy, we fly to a city that has White Castle just so he can have some.
I live in Houston, please let me know when you come down and we can get together. That would be great. I'll look forward to it.

The White Castle that you can buy inthe freezer section probably wouldn't do would it?

*Dons a hazmat suit and pokes at you tenaciously with a long, pointed stick.*
"Is she alive?"
*After receiving no response for long moments, she grabs the rest of your margarita and runs away*
