"Global Test??!!"
Anyone else bothered by Kerry's use of the term 'global test' and how Bush doesn't pass it?
Update: Dean Esmay, Jeff and Cox and Forkum are bothered, seems like no one else even heard Kerry utter the words.
Updated Update: Lashawn Barber was also disturbed by Kerry's use of the word 'global' and how he used it.
Yet another Update: I missed Hugh Hewitt - I agree with him completely on the whole Global Test thing.
I'm frankly suprised that Kerry has not figured out that the vast majority of Americans do not want the UN to run our foreign policy.

If I never remember anything else from that debate, I will always remember his use of the word "global" and frequent references to the international community. Our national security should be in our hands. As I've said before on my blog, I'd make a lousy president because my foreign policy would stink. Thanks for the link!

Kerry doesn't get it. He doesn't get that we need to be vigilant and take the lead in the War On Terror. He doesn't see that, in order for Freedom to be reflected back at us, we need to vigorously defend what has been hard won for us in the past.

You can take the lead on the the War and Terror and still work with other countries.
This Texas cowboy business has gotten us in an incredible mess.

Katman,
I don't know how old you are or what your education in the way of history is, but really, we are hardly in a mess. No one called Vietnam a quagmire until we were in there for gee - what - 4 years, 5 years?
By fighting terrorists in Iraq, we are keeping them the hell out of the USA.
How is Kerry going to add 40,000 troops to the Army anyway? Seems to me, he would have to start a draft - like his democrat brother, Charlie Rangle - wants.

I caught Kerry's "Global Test" and must agree with others who think him to be off his rocker.
At what "level" is the test set? Most of the world hates us, being blinded by their jealousy of what we have.
I wondered about his "last straw" comments about going into Iraq. How does one know its the last straw. Pres. Bush I said somethin about a "line being draw in the sand." I guess the line for Pres. Bush II is 12-16 UN resolutions not being followed.
