Bumper Sticker Madness
There have been a lot of reports of people keying cars that displayed Bush bumper stickers. So far, our new car has not been keyed, but I am proudly displaying my Bush bumper sticker on it.
I did however, have an incident because of it. Several weeks ago, as I was driving in to work, a car that was behind me zoomed around me, pulled in front of me and slammed on their brakes while flipping me off. There were Union and Kerry bumper stickers on that car. I passed that car, and the woman driving was obviously yelling at me about something as I passed her, and I figured she was just some kind of idiot, but in retrospect, I guess she was pissed off that I had a Bush bumper sticker.
So I guess that I have also been a victim of Bumper Sticker Madness.

I have never seen a presidential election year where people have been so rude and violent towards each other.

I understand your car is an Aztek.
No wonder it isn't being keyed. I'm sure most people would consider keying it to be an improvement in it's looks.
(That being said my friend loves his, though he agrees with me about it's egregious looks.)

Are you serious. People are keying cars because of a political affiliation indicated by a sticker? That's sad.

heading out for my pre-employment physical (or as they call it - post-offer/pre-placement health screening), I noticed that all the construction workers' trucks (another nearby hospital is building their own power plant) had BUSH LIED and KERRY/EDWARDS stickers. I think Protest Warrior might have to come up with some flyers for their windshields.
See? You CAN make your point without resorting to vandalism!

Stu: Well, of course they are.
After all, all those Bush supporters/Republicans/whatever are Fascists and Theocrats who Hate Women And Minorities.
So it's okay to destroy their property - they're Nazis! Badthinkers don't have rights, didn't you know?

I saw someone the other day who is obviously voting for Bush. His car was literally covered in Bush/Cheney stickers.
I can't imagine what that will do to his paint job. Unless, of course, the stickers are a temporary solution to flaking paint...

It's happening on both sides. I know a guy who had a Kerry sticker on his car. The entire car got keyed and then real deep where the sticker was.
I've never seen such a nasty election year either. Quite honestly, I find it depressing.
