I feel like such a slacker.

Apparently a skunk has taken up residence in one of my neighbor's yards. My main watchdog (the mutt) has been sprayed 3 times now. I swear if I wasn't an animal lover I'd go out there tonight and blow the sucker away with my 12gauge, which is loaded and ready, and which I probably could get away with considering I live where I do.

The house builder apparently thinks they own me. They made me bring a check over to put a freezer plug in the garage and I was so sick I had my daughter (who was also sick) take it in to them. Instead of getting the hint they brought out an 18 page new contract for me to sign on the hood of my car (yeah. I read it. sure) because they had changed title companies.

My company is closing and I'm the Accounting Manager and I can't even hold down a salad.

I have to be ready to move within 5 weeks. I haven't even packed anything besides books.

My hot water heater quit. I have no idea why. But we've been taking cold showers here for 2 days.

Coincidentally, my ice maker quit also. I don't even own any ice trays anymore so I've been buying bags of ice.

OK, the hot water heater is fixed. It was some sort of electrical problem. Burned wires he said. I have no idea. But its fixed and I can get a decent shower now.

I'm not going to spend any money on the ice maker because I'm buying new appliances for the new house. So I'll just buy ice. Its cheap.

The skunk...it comes in my backyard every night about 10pm. My dog runs out there and confronts it. Sometimes she gets sprayed, sometimes she doesn't. The first time I think it was my fault because I ran out there and yelled at her and scared the skunk. She is NOT going to let that skunk in her territory though, that much is clear. I am seriously considering killing that skunk this very night. In fact I think I may do it, so if you guys read about me in the papers tomorrow...well that's what its about.
