Our friends in Florida
We have lots of bloggy friends in Florida. Stay safe, all of you! We want you to come back and tell us everything soon as possible!
They are all trying to prepare for the storm:
and Chris Muir
I am sure there are others getting ready to evacuate, so all of you be careful and remember your life is more important than anything else!

I was thinking yesterday about what a horrible geographic situation Florida is in. Bam! Bam Bam Bam! One right after the other. I certainly hope everyone gets to a safe spot.

I talked to Tammi earlier tonight - she went to stay with some relatives so she's not alone this time! Yay!!! Tammi had talked to Bou earlier in the day - Bou's family and several others (13 extras last time I heard) were going to be at her house because they have shutters and are as ready as you can be for something like this.
I'm hoping Pam and Arthur are all set and set up for it - also Chris who I just found out from his strip yesterday is down there!

Not a blogger, but definitely in the affected area. (coastal Collier). After the feint and dodge from Charlene, I'm spending LOTS of time loading nhc.noaa.gov, and following every twitch in the predicted track with dozens of my own. Ah, hurricane nerves.
Oh, and who started that stupid thing about giving hurricanes boy names? As you see, I always correct them to be more like the ones used pre-79.

Tried to comment on Pam's latest post. Forbidden. Tried to comment on some of her older posts. Forbidden. Tried to send her an e-mail, 4 or 5 times, using all possible combinations of deletions I could think of to get past her anti-spam precautions. Nope, again. I do wonder why some people pretend to maintain arrangements for others to communicate with them.
