Naturally, CBS is full of BS

Excuse me, any of you who hate profanity, do not read this!

What a bunch of fuckin' bullshit!!!!
We learn from Captain's Quarters

... from CBS News division President Andrew Heyward: We established to our satisfaction that the memos were accurate or we would not have put them on television. There was a great deal of coroborating [sic] evidence from people in a position to know. Having said that, given all the questions about them, we believe we should redouble our efforts to answer those questions, so that's what we are doing.

The entire way home from work at a site that is about 50 miles away, I listened to the radio, waiting for CBS's explanation of the most definitely forged memos.

Go read Captain's Quarters - he is more sane than I am on this - and I agree completely with his message.

But what really gets me is that Bernie Goldberg warned us all about CBS in his book, Bias, and it seems that no one listened.

Never again, never again will I ever turn on any supposed 'news' program, 'news' magazine or 'news' anything else on CBS.

Jay Leno was right it is the C ........................ BS network!!!!

Yep, Jay was right... but Jay's a big honking liberal. Didn't know that until today when I read the story linked from Drudge. 'Tis okay; I don't watch him anyway.

I will go read Captain's Quarter's, but I read somewhere else just a bit ago "accurate doesn't mean authentic".
Course I can't remember where. [old age creeps up slowly then gut punches you.]

It was 60 Minutes which lead me to give up on television as a source of news, nearly 20 years ago. Andy Rooney was basing his tantrum on moon rocks. "Have you ever seen moon rocks?" We happened to have some in our possesion at the time; a big slab of acrylic with tiny little slivers of titanium ore and other worthwhile minerals set in it. NASA had sent it to us in an aluminum briefcase, care of our bank, because we wrote to them on Longview Acadamy (our home school at the time) letterhead. The fact that he was allowed to ignore not merely truth, but the facts, still has me angry. One quick phonecall to the NASA press office would have made all the difference, but they couldn't be bothered.

By the way, the fact that we are not yet mining those minerals was one of the greatest mistakes of the 20th century.
