Am I just an old fuddy duddy, or does Madonna I mean Esther look just a little bit underdressed for a religious ceremony?

Count me in as a fuddy-duddy too. I think part of the problem is a Baby Boomer holdover idea (from back in the day) that dressing respectfully and conservatively is phoney.
Add to that the idea that expensive means better. I wouldn't be surprised to find that her outfit cost more than I spend on clothing in a year (not even counting her jewelry) but I know that I could find something in my closet that would be more appropriate.
