What the blogosphere needs
Is a Carnival of Recipes! I look around, and I find absolutely wonderful recipes from many bloggers. Some bloggers are professional cookbook authors, and just talk about their recipes, but others of us are willing to give every detail of a recipe to the rest of the world.
So, I am going to start the Carnival of Recipes. Send a link to your recipe, or the recipe yourself if you don't have your own blog to beth(at)thedonovan(dot)com.
And on Friday evening, cooks everywhere will come looking for your bestest ever dish!
And frankly, I need some new recipes.
Deadline is Friday at 6:00 Central Daylight Time. Oh, and that is PM!
Now, I'll be embarrassed as hell if no one sends me anything, so please, please, please ----- send me a link or recipe!

What a great idea, I also need some new bestest recipes! I'll be sending one in.
I need a recipe for some TexMex if anybody has the bestest recipe ever!

Joanie, nah, they can be really easy recipes - like stop at a good grocery store and pick up something like a roast chicken - and then put what you add to make it better!
BeeBee - what kind of TexMex? Chicken, beef, chili?

Do y'all do all meat such as pork? I don't want to submit something that y'all won't eat! (I've met more people who don't eat pork.)

For some reason I also get an error when I trackback so.....
my entry is posted here
It's going to be busy for the next couple days and I didn't want to be late.
Did I tell you what a great idea I think this is?? :)

I have a couple good TexMex recipes. I have what is fairly well acknowledged around here as a good amount of talent at TexMex. I'll type something up and send it to you Beth.
I also do some really decent Chinese dumplings and whatnot. I'll make it a point to work on some of this and send it to you.
None of that stuff is easy though I'll warn you up front. These aren't 30 minute meals by any means.

Beth, this is a really cool idea. Now I need to dig out my recipies that I haven't been able to cook here in France yet!

I guess I'll have to get my tamarind-pineapple barbecue sauce written up. If not, my wee wifey runs several recipe-sharing mailing lists I could flood you with.

Sounds like a great idea. I have a few recipes, but have only posted Random Pizza so far. I'll have to dig out the rest and do some instruction writing for this one!

OK, here's mine: Mushroom Pork Tenderloin.
I'm glad you did this! I was telling my Mom I wanted to start blogging a recipe a week and this has motivated me.
