I am nothing but a bunch of pixels
I'm just a bunch of pixels on your computer screen. I just found out that a blogger who I like quite a bit has quit blogging because of a comment I made on John's blog in response to a comment he made.
Now, let me explain something. My spouse is a wonderful man, I love him dearly, but he can be so damned frustrating at time because he often comes across as a college professor might - quite pedantic, if you know what I mean. I often call John 'holier than thou' when he goes on that way.
Our blogger friend, Jack, sometimes writes in that kind of a tone of voice, also - at least I take it that way, and I told him in a comment that he was being holier than thou - that doesn't mean shit, though, because I am nothing but a bunch of pixels on your computer, Jack!!!!
I can be petty and catty and snarky, I am a semimenapausal woman, but Good Lord, nothing I say should mean anything to anyone because ... I am nothing but a bunch of pixels on your computer!!
So, Jack, please blog again. Feel free to call me a bitch, a harpie, a harridan.
I am sorry!!!!

I didn't stop blogging *permanently*, I just am taking a break for a few days. Last time I did that without putting up a post saying I was taking a break I got emails asking if I was OK, so I broke the Commissar's rule and said "I'm taking a break".
It wasn't your comment alone that prompted the break, I have a lot of stuff going on right now, so don't think it was *all* your comment. To put it in perspective, your comment was just the cherry on top of a sh!t sundae... if the sundae wasn't already there, it wouldn't have been any big deal at all.
I'll be back later today (Sunday).

Sorry, that was just a bit of private dialogue between myself and a teacher whose name I can't remember but whose idiotic prediction was stupid then and is stupid now.

BeeBee, I think I want some of what you are on (but probably not the reason for it)... I had to read it twice to understand it... but it was nicely subtle when the light went on!

Beth, all it took to get me this silly this morning was losing 2 lbs. The relief of knowing this weight can come off just makes me so darn happy.
