Blogger gossip
Rosemary, the Queen of All Evil, has a rant about a knuckleheaded professor of Women's Studies beliefs.. Don't miss it. The lovely Joanie, DaGoddess, is going to the dogs. BeeBee has discovered something called Cuddle Parties. Apparently, people in NYC need these things.
The company that Jim works for has been assimilated.I worry about the company I work for being assimilated by Oracle or Microsoft sometimes. We have been on Microsoft's list in the past. Hopefully, this will mean only good things for Jim.
Helen has a story of British Bureaucracy mixed with her own story. Read her. She should put her posts together into books. I know they would be best sellers.
Key is a friend of a famous writer. I am so jealous, Key, John Ringo must be a fascinating person. Our whole family reads fantasy science fiction.
I'm a bit worried about our Florida friends - Boudicca and Pam and Tammi.
Go add Teresa to your blogroll. She is good. You *will* like her.
Madfish Willie has a somewhat off color joke.
Allah has odds on who the Al Quaida assasination target may be.
John *finally* got his own stamp.

Hi Beth
I commented at the QOAE regarding the MS Ritter piece about stay at home moms and I think you misread my comment but not sure.
I mentioned that ACCORDING TO RITTER all these decades of American family life must have been producing sick families and sick kids since moms traditionally have stayed at home to run the home and care for the kids.
I think you thought that I said that we had been producing sick families and sick kids but I inferred that that was Ritter's opinion. I'm in my early 60s and I certainly know the value of stay at home moms. Ritter is certifiable IMO. :-)

I really like Teresa's new purple blog, but I like her writing best!
The part that stinks about THIS hurricane is trying to figure out if there is school tomorrow. No telling what this thing is going to do over night. At least it's only a Cat 1. That's a simple batton down the hatches. Gets bigger than that and I get worried. My hurricane shutters were delivered today. :)
I just posted a the longest rant ever on that jerk Ritter. I'm still up because I'm still so pissed I can't sleep.

Thanks for the mention Beth!
Yes he's interesting. But try having a conversation with a sci fi author and military strategist sometime. (...very tiring!) ; )

I would bet that my husband would track right along with him - being the military historian that he is, and because he is a huge sci fi fan.

Thanks Beth - you are so sweet. I have decided that the only way I'm EVER going to get to read all the great blogs out there is if I quit my job and only blog!!! LOL.
Problem is, no job, no money. No money, no internet... bummer. Oh well, I do try to get around and read everyone you've listed even if I don't have enough time to leave comments! Apologies to all you wonderful bloggers since comments are the best part of blogging!
Ah well, back to work!
