Alice Cooper is my Rock and Roll Hero

Alice is no longer 18, but he sure knows what is right!
Alice slams anti-Bush rockers

"If you're listening to a rock star in order to get your information on who to vote for, you're a bigger moron than they are. Why are we rock stars? Because we're morons. We sleep all day, we play music at night and very rarely do we sit around reading the Washington Journal."

And we're supposed to listen to a guy who calls himself "Alice" and who wears makeup??? I wonder what the other Republican rock star Marilyn Manson has to say about this.

Marko,
surely you jest. Anyway, Alice is saying *not* to listen to rock stars - any of them.
I would add, don't listen to Actors, Actresses, TV Talking Heads.

The smart person researches the candidates (as much as possible in this liberally biased media world) on his/her own and makes his/her own decision.

That's frickin' hysterical!

My godfather actually sat next to Alice on a flight from LA to Chicago. He said it was one of the best conversations he had had in a long while. He couldn't get over how intelligent Alice was.

I'll have to agree with him on that now. It takes an intelligent person to know their limits and admit to them.

Now if only the rest of the "stars" would gleen that same understanding, and stick with what they know!

OMG - that's terrific! Thanks Beth, I'm glad I saw this one *grin*

I've always liked Alice. Good musician, and he's the first to point out that his show is just an act, he's an entertainer, and you shouldn't read any deep meaning into anything he does on stage.

He's very much NOT full of himself.

This is just TOO good! I love it when I can gain respect for someone I didn't think much of in the beginning.

I will heed Alice's advice and continue to NOT get the information I need from rock stars or celebrities. But it is nice to know that some of them can actually think a coherent thought.

My hat's off to Mr. Cooper.

I read not long ago that Alice had found Jesus Christ. Just goes to show, that like me, a messed up preachers kid can go completely off the deep end, and still manage to find his way home.

Way to go bro

Went to the Alpha Course at my church last night. Heard Alice Cooper is a Christian. I did some research on the web and found a few quotes and articles confirming what I have heard. Good to know that someone like him (always in the public’s face) is not afraid of admitting that he is a believer. I am glad that they mentioned that in the Alpha.

God loves everyone!!!!
