I'm so tired

Like my friend, Pam, I am so tired of the news - listening to all the bullshit about how 'Bush lied' - even with proof now that he didn't.

Has the Press always been this way? Was I just naive as all get out before?
Maybe. What I do know is that I am starting to listen to Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh for the first time in years, because they are the only people on radio here who are not Kerry ass-lickers.

Any other station I listen to, even the music stations, has dj's or talk jockeys or whatever who hate President Bush.

The hate is so nauseating, and disturbed.

And I see George Bush as a good man, doing way better than most men would in a time of war.

I may not agree with everything he does - but he has done the right thing in responding the the declaration of war that the Islamic fundamentalists have made against the USA.

I have faith in President Bush's motives. President Bush has made us safer.

We have not had a terrorist attack on US soil since 9/11.

I have absolutely no confidence in John Kerry's ability to stand strong. His history indicates that he will run, like Spain, at the first sign of discomfort.

It's very tiring.

It's way too tempting to just give up.

So I won't. I hope you don't give up, too.

Wow this post of yours so closely follows my own line of thinking. I've been asking myself the same questions. Has the press always been this way and I just missed it before? Or am I so out of touch with normal people that I'm alone in thinking Bush is a good guy?

YES YES YES! And its so irrational. What is wrong with these people? Or is it me? I feel at times I may be losing touch with reality. Everywhere I go, radio stations, fast food joints, TV, movies...everywhere, people are so INTO this Bush hating.

WTF is going on here? Am I the only one that sees how sick this is? I'd go see a psychiatrist except they'd probably lock me up in the loony ward.

I don't agree with everything Bush has done either...but I'm a single issue voter for the first time. Who's going to keep my family safe? And my view of keeping my family safe is weighted towards killing the bad guys in whatever way is necessary - not kissing French and German ass.

OK...hope you guys can't find out where I live or the guys with white coats will be here an hour from now...

I'm so glad I'm not the only one feeling this way! Yes, still supporting the President, God Bless him, but not subjecting myself to the kerry.ass.licking.media.

I am sick of it too. (I'm laughing because I just wrote a draft of a post along this line.) I think the press has always been this way, but it seems worse now. Remember the Atlanta Games when the press tried to convict that guy of a bombing he did not commit? They make me sick. Worse than lawyers.
