Okay, I admit it, I'm a hotel snob | Main | Do 13 year old kids need this?

For $10.00 more ...

and about 8 miles further away, and I have a room at a much nicer hotel - Marriott Courtyard - with free broadband, room service and a clean, non-moldy room.

Anyway, I should sleep well tonight - I'm pretty worn out. The woman I'm working with is very smart and very nice, but I'm having a few problems getting her to pay attention to me and not to her system (there are lots of other people to do that while I'm trying to train her). Tomorrow, we are going to a non-disclosed (to all her co-workers) location.

I have not even looked at the news or anything. And I swear, my blood pressure is down because of that.

I wish I was the kind of person who just didn't give a damn sometime.

You don't need to swear an oath as to your blood pressure dropping. When I gave notice at the job I left when we relocated, mine dropped 20 points.

If you haven't already, make sure you join their rewards program. They always let me know when there are big specials. I've taken them up on a couple of their offers.

I'm a hotel snob too - I like to be comfortable when I stay somewhere. Lately my beef has been noisy neighbors. One guy (I'll swear was deaf) fell asleep with his TV on full throttle - we called the desk and it took them 20 minutes to wake the moron and have him turn it down. The next morning, my husband heard him on the phone complaining that they woke him up when his TV was hardly making any noise at all (yeah he heard the entire one side of the conversation without trying).

The last hotel we were at, we got to hear all the comments about the couple's room service breakfast *sigh* at 6:30am - we hadn't planned on getting up yet... *double sigh*
