This week's to do list.
Things we need to do this week:
1. get the slime off the back porch.(we have had a ton of rain, and it's not draining well from the porch.)
2. Clear the limbs from the back and front yard, cut them to size and tie together for Tuesday pickup.
3. Laundry (but not critical -have enough underwear to last all week)
4. Get more pots for plants – plant the plants that have not been planted.
5. vacuum hallway /kitchen
6. Clean all the crap out of Andy’s room (he is 19 and in college)
7. Paint Andy’s room (Deferred, we're going to host a painting party with Andy's friends... a little Tom Sawyer action!
8. Buy him something to sleep on! (we threw out the old waterbed - need new normal bed before he comes home from college on Friday)
9. Work on deck – Give away old patio furniture and get new!!!
10. Maybe go and buy swing for deck?
11. Pond – eliminate leaves, maybe some new fishies.
12. change sheets on bed
13. clean kitty litter
14. clean both bathrooms
15. clean kitchen counters (half done)
16. purge accumulated stuff from computer room
17. must download Esmay pics to my PC and upload to my blog.
Things I’d like to do:
1. Get a little horse time
2. little stained glass time
3. sex - XXXXXXXX times at least.
4. champagne
5. food
This is not necessarily the order in which things will be done. And numbers 3,4 and 5 of the I'd like to do list are repeated as often as necessary.
Update:
I have crossed out those things that are finished. Please keep in mind that Numbers 3, 4 and 5 of my second list are repeatable - so they continue to need to be done over and over and over.

I like the second list better.
Can't we potty-train our cats?

I have read about methods of potty training the cats, but who is going to flush the toilet? Especially if I'm traveling!

Glad your busy, perhaps you could ask your leader why he doesn't feel your same sense of urgency.
President George Bush has spent more than 40% of his presidency at one of his three retreats, sparking criticism from Democrats that he is not taking his job seriously at a crucial time in US history.
Mr Bush was on his 33rd visit to his ranch in Crawford, Texas, at the Easter weekend, where he has spent 233 days or almost eight months since his inauguration, according to a tally by CBS news. Add his 78 visits to Camp David and five to Kennebunkport, Maine, and he has spent all or part of 500 days out of the office while in office.
Mr Bush was at his ranch on August 6 2001 as part of a month-long holiday when he received the briefing warning of Osama bin Laden's determination to attack the US, which has become a focal point of the 9/11 commission of inquiry.
On Thursday the president watched his national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice, give her testimony on television, then toured his ranch with the chief executive of the National Rifle Association, Wayne LaPierre, before giving an interview to Ladies Home Journal.
Regardless of what is going on in the world Mr Bush is usually in bed by 10pm and wakes at 6am. As governor of Texas he would be in work by 8.30am and out by 5.30pm. In between was a 90-minute to two-hour break for exercise or a nap.

No idea what that anti-Bush message has to do with your todo list.
I wonder if he realizes he works out of the office, don't you? That many of those Crawford visits have foreign visitors?
Anyway, if you do enough of 3,4,5, you'll probably never get to 1-17.

You are right, I have no idea why that guy from the Johnkerry site thinks that his comment has anything whatsoever to do with my post. Is it comment spam?
Besides, his candidate is known for not showing up for votes, so it's a bit of the pot calling the kettle black.
I would have perhaps the smallest modicom of respect for Kerry if his campaign consisted of some substance instead of just whacking on President Bush.
But I just don't see that happening!

dilligaf = Flail, dig.
Flailing around, trying to dig up some muck.
Blowhard. Seemingly doesn't understand the concept of 'working' vacation.
Two words: Jimmy Carter. That's what you get when you have a micro-managing President who can't ever let go, even for a minute.
Besides, sillygaf, I'd have thought you'd WANT the man to be gone all the time. After all, he's an idiot and unfit to govern, therefore more vacation = better, right?
And, if you don't have an original thought, do us a favor - use the 'url' button and just post a link. Cutting and pasting in stuff like that is bad form. Show some manners, or mommy will send you to bed without dinner.

LOL, Calliope! LOL

Calliope - you got other suggestions for 3? Submit resume's, pictures, and labs.
And whew! I'm glad that #3 is repeatable.
Posted by: John of Argghhh! at May 16, 2004 3:54 PM
yes, 3 is repeatable X infinity.
Posted by: Beth Donovan at May 16, 2004 4:04 PM
The only other option I could think of was "C" - hired help. =D
Posted by: Calliope at May 16, 2004 5:14 PM
I don't know, I'm thinking that even though it's repeatable, that #3 should NEVER be taken off a list. :) I think the more it's out there to see on a list, the more apt it is to happen more frequently!
Posted by: Boudicca at May 16, 2004 7:19 PM
Hmm, Boudica - you have a point - I'll go and uncross it out.

I see the sorority is looking after itself.
S'okay. I can stand being a piece of meat.
Posted by: John of Argghhh! at May 16, 2004 9:12 PM
Yeah, my husband says similar things about just being a piece of meat. :)
